Never played an animal crossing game but got this as a gift and it is a very fun game with tons of gameplay hours to be had.

This game is addictive! It's great fun whether you're an adult or child. Good, wholesome fun, what more could you want. The price is $60 so I wish it went on sale but that's the only thing that's not to like.

This game is absolutely fantastic. The graphics are great, and gameplay is chill.

Kids love it, grown-ups too. I wish each kid could have their own island, but the sharing is an interesting dynamic too. One kid has lost interest a bit having to keep rebuilding tools. But I love the real time and seasonal aspects. Super cute game. It super interesting to watch each kid develop their own play styles and design/decorate their own clothes or houses.

This game is just good wholesome fun for the whole family. We’re a family with teenagers who initially created the island but we parents soon joined in on the fun. We spend lots of quality time playing together, talking resident news, and island planning & development. We gifted our extended families for Christmas and now we can all play online together. Super fun!

Fun, wholesome game, can play for hours just building up the town and doing the side quest

My son's college switched over to online as so many colleges did in March. He was on spring break when this occurred and the game was coming out the week after. I bought him the game and it has been the best! He is enjoying the game and it is helping to alleviate the stress and anxiety he is currently going through as there have been so many stressful changes. Highly recommend for all ages!

Animal crossing New Horizons has captivated me so much I always watch my wife play. I know it's kind of the same as paat iterations, but wow! There is so much new things they have added! My favorite part is the customize your personal character! Add a little something about yourself. This is one awesome video game in times like these. Please go buy the game and experience it for yourself!

There is a lot to do in this game. You can go fishing, diving collect things. You can build your house and island as you like. It is very fun to play and entertaining.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the perfect island escape, drawing you in to play day after day. All of the charms of the series' previous games are here, but with gorgeous new graphics, DIY crafting and the eventual ability to remodel your island, you can really create the island settlement of your dreams.

This game is built great and is everything it was meant to be, a relaxing life simulator. This is truly a game that you pick up and play for 5 minutes or 5 hours and be satisfied either way. There are no real, critical, objectives in the game. It’s truly what you want it to be. You build a deserted island and make a life there. That’s it.

Game is fun to play. There is a lot that you can do in the game.

I never played until this version and my girlfriend asked me to play. Very easy to get into and can be taken at your own pace. My only gripe is that so many things are sensitive to the true time of day and I don’t like to “time travel” (as the community calls it).

I came into this game blind having only knowledge that the franchise has a huge fanbase. Initially very skeptical of the simpleness of gameplay and the child like appealing graphics I soon found myself wanting to play atleast an hour a day just to check in on things and see what new items or characters are on my island. I'm actually trying to find the gamecube version as well to play that.

If you like this sort of game, this game can take hours away without realizing it. My husband played it, but after a couple of weeks since it was so much of the same thing over and over again he stopped. I still love to play because sometime I need something familiar and easy that I can check out to. If you like any of the previous animal crossing games I would recommend it.

I'd never played any of the previous Animal Crossing games, but this one seemed like fun, so I gave it a shot. I was completely shocked by how much I loved it. It is not a typical adventure game, but more of a life simulator, but life in the cutest way imaginable. There is so much to do in the game and the free updates from Nintendo have been great. Highly recommended!

Excellent game, I loved New Leaf on the 3ds and this game in the series doesn't disappoint.

What can I say - it’s Animal Crossing. I love these games. I played the first one on a DS with my son years ago and was so excited to see this new one come out. I bought the Switch Lite just to play this game. It’s adorable. It’s relaxing. And now I’m buying it along with the Switch Lite for my now son (now 21) for Christmas. It’s just a feel good happy game.
