Animal Crossing New Horizons is a fun and relaxed game as its predecessors before. This game has become a daily stop during a hard time of lockdown and home isolation. It has given me another fun way to connect to friends and things to do during the day when I find myself looking for something. I wouldn't want to spend my self isolation any other way.

This game is excellent. If you like cute villagers, colelcting outfits, decorating your island and fishing or catching bugs, this is for you. I like how it is self paced - I like to take it slow, I usually just feel relaxed doing my daily tasks, but there’s others who take it at a faster pace which is also an option. It’s basically whatever you make it.

I didn’t like the version on the GameCube so I was hesitant to play the switch version. But after hearing great reviews I decided to pay for the game and hope for the best. I’m glad I did because it’s a great game but you can run out of things to do after the main story. Wish the story was longer. But all in all i loved playing it.

Animal crossing has always been a relaxing time, a nice contrast to other more action intensive games. The lastest edition does a great job adding more engagement to the life simulation making you feel truly accomplished when you see the town thrive. Also came out at the perfect time considering the outbreak going on. Stay safe and thanks for reading.

I had never played an Animal Crossing game prior to this as I generally prefer action games, but I am really enjoying it so far. I was worried that the gameplay would get repetitive, as all you pretty much do is collect items and organize your island, but that definitely hasn't been the case. It is a very relaxing game that is still tons of fun to play, especially with friends. It evens provides incentives for you to play every day. The art style is also very cute (I love seeing all of the different villagers) and adds to the enjoyment. There have also been several updates since release, allowing new features such as collecting art, swimming, and competing in fishing/bug catching competitions.

I've never played animal crossing before so for a first timer it was a bit overwhelmed to get into and can lose its appeal if you don't have spare time to check in every day with your island. The joy in the game comes from the new things that can pop up on the island and sometimes you can miss these events if you can't develope your island any further.

This isn't your typical game, not even your typical life-sim. Animal Crossing is so insanely charming and there is so much to do, if this is your first AC then you're in for a treat, and if this is just the latest one you're playing then you're gonna love the changes. Please do not "Time Travel" you will ruin the experience for yourself, enjoy!

I've only played for like 5 minutes but my daughter had to have it and she loves that there is a phone version that links to her account so she can play on either. Keeps her busy in the car and going to grandparents. It's a nice role playing game with fun characters but there is reading so kids that can't read yet might not have as much fun.

I have a list of my top tier games. I feel as if this game is almost as good as both Mario odyssey and Legend of Zelda. After time i find that the game can get both addictive and stressful. Since you want to make a perfect town. The villagers are very lovable and adorable. Ive played over 300 hours on this game and it has been truly wonderful.

My stepdaughter absolutely loves it. Just be warned, if you're kid isn't at a reading level, you'll have to play it with them as their is know human language spoken, just animal gibberish with subtitles. Much of the game is decision based so you kind of have to hold their hand through most of it. But they can really get lost in the in between parts. Which is essentially just roaming around doing silly things with no real point to any of it other than to stimulate imagination and learn a few problem solving skills. I don't see how it's any kind of fun but then again, I'm in my 40's. What do I know?

I've sunk almost 500 hours into this game already. It isn't the best Animal Crossing out there since it's missing many features from New Leaf and City Folk, but it also has so much more ways to customize and interact with your island than ever before. A true time sink for builders and designers, or people who just want to relax.

The game I've played the most on the switch and have played AC since the gamecube days. Lots of things to do and collect in the game. You can visit friends' islands and they can visit yours and y'all can play together. I enjoy diving in the game the most.

I have invested over 50 hours of my life since this game was released playing, and I genuinely enjoy every aspect of this game! As an early player of the GameCube Animal Crossing edition, I was ecstatic finding out there would be a Switch installment. This game has definitely lived up to its hype, and I look forward to continuing to perfect my island!

What can I really say about this game that hasn't already been said? If the idea of loving on an island catching bugs, fishing and diving for sea creatures with your animal friends sounds fun to you then get this game, I have put over 200 hours into it and it is my first choice of game to play when I don't feel like playing anything serious.
