This Game Is Everything I Wanted And More

First off, I was introduced to the Animal Crossing games through Animal Crossing: City Folk. I played that game religiously, as much as a kid could in a given day. When I heard about Animal Crossing coming out with a new game on a console that could be played on the TV again (sorry DS games) in HD, I immediately got a switch and pre-ordered the game. I have been playing it for roughly a month now, and I can confidently say it has been so. much. fun. The first few days of play are the hardest to get through, I admittedly had a little "animal crossing burnout" from the lack of things to do. If you can get through this, the game becomes more interactive, immersive, and fun. I genuinely could spend days on this game if I had the luxury to. My little brother also plays, and has somehow managed to put more hours on the game than I have. Overall, this game is great for everyone- young, old, gamers, non-gamers, animal crossing followers and those who are new to the franchise. You cannot go wrong with this game.

Animal crossing is just an awesome franchise, period. It's one of the best sims out there with all the various activities, hidden touches, and zany characters. This will keep you busy for hours and hours by hooking you in and not letting go. Definitely recommend for anyone who owns a Switch.

I've been playing Animal Crossing since City Folk, and this is a great game to get your mind off of the pandemic that is going on. This game has even pulled in a lot of new players. I really enjoyed the new things that they added in the game, but I feel like it is much easier now to earn bells.

Perfect game for COVID-19 Quarantine. I even joined in with my kids on the island. It is a relaxing slow paced game that helps to pass the time. My kids took over on the game and are doing all the work on the island while I just lounge around and fish. It's kind of the opposite of real life.

I won't lie, I got harrased into buying this game by a couple of friends and went in expecting to hate it. After playing it for a couple hours though, I can honestly say the simple novelty of Animal Crossing is some of the most fun I've had with a Nintendo game since Breath of the Wild.

My fiance got me Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a way to keep me occupied during quarantine. I played this on my Nintendo DS growing up and loved it! He said he'd never play it but as soon as he saw me playing and I explained the game to him, he made an account and plays just as much as me!!

The game is amazing and I recommend it. My kiddo loves it and I've played it a bit myself and enjoy it. What I should have investigated is that buying a second copy of the game does not give you a "new" island. All of your created toons "share" an island. I knew this but assumed if I purchased a second copy we would have...well...a second copy of the game. That is not the case. All of the info is tied to the switch apparently. We gave this copy away. So dont buy it if you want a second island. It does not work that way. The game is good though.

This is the first game I e played that is not Mario or Pokemon since I got a Switch Lite. It’s been years since I’ve played video games and so glad I got this one. It’s really addicting and fun. I like the mini challenges that earn your Nook Miles. It makes the game play even more interesting.

This game is fun and very immersive. There are countless items to craft and collect. Everyone in the house can participate and have their own house and share items. The only downside is everyone is vying for a turn to play. We have played this many hours, especially right now. Highly recommend.

We bought animal crossing on launch and are gradually getting into the game. The DIY gameplay is awesome and a totally logical direction for this game. We haven’t yet used the online features, but will get into that next. After playing new leaf for many years, I think this new one will stick!

It's one of those games that you think is going to be good, then once you actually have it and start playing it. It just blew my mind off, I wasn't expecting it to be this good! Animal Crossing is one of those games where there's no goal, you just play it how you would want to, there's no goals!

I played Animal Crossing a lot as a kid and absolutely love being able to play again. I recently purchased the Nintendo Switch and I love it! It’s a really fun game with lots of things to do. It’s a little bit slower paced, so it’s more for patient players who don’t need instant gratification.

We were surprised to be able to pick this up same day through Best Buy's no contact drive thru. It was back ordered online everywhere. My teenager wanted something fun to do while schools were closed. Now she visits with her grown up sisters virtual world with the optional online membership.

Animal Crossing has always been unique and beautiful, and Nintendo didn't let us down with New Horizons. The beauty is better than ever, so, so many new features, and there's much more to do to keep yourself occupied and entertained than in the previous titles. The hours just slip away from you

I bought this for my daughter (age 14) and she has decided she loves it so much that she spent her birthday and Christmas money she had been saving to buy a switch lite for her step-sister (lives in a different household) so that they could play together even on weekends they weren't together.

This game is amazing to play with friends. Otherwise, it's a bit of a daily slog/grind to do the same repetitive actions to obtain a sense of progress. I was addicted for 3-4 weeks but lost interest a bit after. The game is great, just not my personal cup of tea to play year-round.

It is a very fun, cute, and relaxing game that you can play anytime! The above sentance was written by my 15 year old daughter. My 13 year old daughter also loves it!! With the stay at home order in our area, this has helped to keep them happily engaged, as they can play in each others games.

Worth the wait! There is so much to do in this game and I love how they gave you freedom to change and design your island! Coming from someone who's played the ds version for years as a child, new horizons has much more to offer. I highly recommend this game for people who just want to relax.
