What a great game, super immersion, addictive, and fun. Visiting friends is a great feature and I love being able to see how others have done things different them I did. I wish the pice would go down but with how popular it is that may never happen.

I came into this franchise with very little previous knowledge about the series but I was pleasantly surprised with this game. The game's visual design is breathtakingly stunning. The multiplayer mode adds another fun element to the game, although the animation cutscenes do get annoying. One of my favorite aspects of the game is customizing my character and the island with clothes, accessories and furniture. I love how creative the player community gets.

A life simulator where you run your own town on an island. You can visit your friends island and will always have something new to do each day! Light hearted and laid back. One you can pick up anytime not having to worry about where you left off. Also one you can play for a few minutes or a few hours. There are always free updates for it around the holidays adding more hours of new fun to your adventure! Recommend to everyone!

There is A LOT to do in this game. There is no real objective (other than paying off your house), but I think even non-Animal Crossing fans can still enjoy this — especially if you do online play. New Horizons is more forgiving in how you want to place objects, and guest characters visit often enough to keep things interesting. The beginning might feel slow, but afterwards you get quickly get more ways to build your island, which is when it really gets fun.

Love love love this game ... buy for at least 8-9 year olds who know how to read ... a lot of reading ... strategizing, teaches about different kinds of animals, builds a BEAUTIFUL MUSEUM and Aquarium! Teaches to be a good resident, barter skills, patience, value of items, build items, build home, decorate home. Teaches how to do hybrid flowers (genetics) even teaches “stalk market” Leans more towards girls but boys will enjoy as well

This game is everything I wanted in the new Animal Crossing. No micro transactions like the iOS/Android version, which I feared may be added to this new iteration. Coming from the Wild World version, it’s everything I loved there and a lot more! Lots of new little things to keep it interesting! Definitely recommend this if you previously liked Animal Crossing. If you’ve never played and you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, zen-like game to play, this is it!

Fun game that have hours of gameplay. Easy game enough to just pass the time if you aren't looking to stress yourself out trying to beat bosses or level up. the only negative thing is that you can only play that one game. Can't play multiple new games. I'm sure that's most people's complaint. Other than that it's worth it.

This game could not have launched at a better time then it did. When I went to pick the game up, the "coronavirus pandemic " was just a twinkle in the United States eye. It was weird because I was in the first "line" since the 6foot rule came into play. Once I got the game home and in my Switch, it help me relax on the Madness our world would soon be going through. Great game, help me get through rough times and makes me happy to play! A must Purchase!

What a coincidence Animal Crossing is finally released for the Nintendo Switch right when everybody is locked up under quarantine. This has kept my 19 year old college daughter sane in between her now online college classes. She is connecting with old friends and new friends. I don’t understand at of it but she is thrilled with her fruit trees and everything she is doing to her community and whatever else. Seems like this game is perfect for young and old

I love this game. Great for one or two people to share island responsibilities. You are able to customize clothing, furniture, and many other parts of the game. Consistent free updates are still being released that are expanding the scope of what's possible. This game takes several (and I mean many) real-time days to unlock all features. If you are in a rush, this game might not be for you. but, if you take the time, the game will be quite enjoyable.

I was looking for a good game that would break me away from work and boredom of COVID-19 quarantine. A friend suggested that I pick up Animal Crossing. I've been very impressed and have been playing it daily since I purchased it. While a relatively simple game, the small tasks and things you do are quite satisfying. Great for people of all ages. If you pick this up, I hope you have some spare time on your hands! It's addicting and will suck you in.

This game is a must have for single-player Switch owners of all ages. It's relaxing, engaging, and has enough variety of content to keep you coming back for more. My wife and I have 150+ hours each in this game and we still haven't run out of things to do. Unfortunately the multiplayer leaves you scratching your head, wondering how in the world they thought its various features were OK to implement. Want a friend to visit your island? Ok, have a pointless 2 minute animation/loading screen that is impossible to skip. Friend wants to go back to their island? Have another unskippable animation/loading screen. Want to have a friend over to your island to do some collaborative decoration or landscaping? NOPE; can't do that. Can't even pick up an item to put it in your bag. A Switch console can only have ONE island. That's it. Doesn't matter if you have 5 different profiles, the Switch is locked to that one island. That means if you share your Switch with anyone else, you will be forced to share the one island. The islands are unfortunately just the right size for only one person. 2 or more sharing one island drastically reduces the amount of gameplay a person can enjoy. Not to mention only one person can do the things that advance the story. The other people can only decorate.
