Love playing this game, reminds me of my childhood when I use to play on my game cube

For background, this is my first Animal Crossing experience. For the first few months I loved getting to know my villagers, finding new insects and fish, and decorating my island. The novelty wore off, however, and Nintendo could be doing so much more with this franchise. It is disappointing that very few objects you can place are interactive besides the most basic actions. The multilayer has the most cumbersome user interface I have ever dealt with in a release of this caliber and there is not much you can do with other players besides trading items and catching fish/insects. Even now almost a year later the game is lacking much needed quality of life updates. Longtime fans will probably love this game, but I just can't recommend it for someone new to the franchise; it is well behind modern game design in interactivity and user interface.

Great game for those who aren't into gaming; relaxing game play, easy to follow mechanics.

I love this game and played continuously for the first 5 months I had it. I dropped it for a while, but came back toit after all the free updates that they gave.

Honestly, didn't think my kids would be excited for this, but they are at age 13 and 8.

All of my kids loving playing this game. It is pretty entertaining and allows for fun interactions. I admit I've watched them play and some of the stuff is pretty silly / funny.

Bought this for my oldest daughter who keot asking for the game. We only have 1 switch so she shares it with her sister and sometimes myself. She started the game on her account so now the other accounts cannot create their own neighborhood which is a bummer cuz i wanted to create my own and experience all the features which is not possible! Disappointed nintendo! Nothing like the snes i grew up on. Overall good game.

There’s some minor things that can be annoying about this but overall it’s pretty darn addicting

It's very soothing to play. Plus I don't really have to use my brain that much, so it's nice to play after work. I would give it 5 stars, but the freakin' Easter Play run is driving me crazy and they don't give you enough space for holding stuff in your pockets. No, I don't want any eggs. I also don't want to make anything with eggs. I tried to see if you can add spots if you bought a backpack, but it's just for "decoration".

I really enjoy this and I'm hooked on constantly learning something new about playing this.

It's a fun game to play for a couple of weeks and take a long break and come back to.
