My daughter wanted to play this game, and I was hoping we could find it for less than $59. No luck, but at least we did same-day pickup. Best Buy brought it out right away when we checked in for drive-thru pickup. My daughter loves the game, and it’s great, wholesome entertainment. You can also play with others online if you sign up for a Nintendo On-line account.

A Must have Game, I can spend hour on it . My family love this game

I bought this for my kids to play during quarantine and they loved it so much I had to buy a second copy so they could play together on their islands. The only downfall is there is a lot of reading involved and if my 7 year old isn’t there to help my 5 year old I get stuck with “mommy what does this say” over and over again. I don’t mind helping her though.

The best game at the right time. Amazingly, this game came out right at the start of the COVID19 pandemic. Hours of fun, although the return diminishes over time, especially once you get to the theoretical "end-game". Nonetheless, there's always something to do, and it's easy to pick up and grind away for burst gaming.

First things first, My kid loves this game, one of her all time favs already. The game is good but all it would take to make it great is a few software updates. There is literally zero reason why Nintendo has made it where you cannot import your island on to another switch system. You would have to completely start over if get another switch. Also, while coop sounds great, the second player cannot do very much but follow the leader basically which is player one. Player 2 also does not get all of the task and story things that the first player to start the island gets. The game is best played in little chunks of time each day, even then though it does feel tedious after awhile. Needs more updates adding more things to do.

My twin boys, did extra chores to save up for this game. So when I asked them to explain the concept to me I was surprised to find out you basically are encouraged to play the game daily and complete chores. They can visit each other’s island, and do to quarantine they showed me one day they were “reclaiming their summer” by just hanging out on the beach.

Fun game, easy to use, very bright and vibrant game to play.

Animal Crossing has been one of my family's favorite games as a kid and now for my kids (myself still also). Running your own island is the object these with New Horizons on Nintendo Switch. Progress along for new visitors to set up camp with you, visit friends and random island with the airport! Fun for the whole family, highly entertaining and reccomend!

First animal crossing game i've ever played, and despite not being able to transfer saves yet, or having multiple islands, The game is still really relaxing and enjoyable, and playing with friends makes the experience even better, absolutely recommenced to grab if you just wanna sit down, relax a little and just play a game that's basically real time stardew valley

This game was my quarantine savior. I still play it every day.

If you’ve played Animal Crossing before you know what to expect, but this is even better. Crafting adds more fun to the experience, Nook Phone helps you keep track of the DIY recipes. The graphics and sound effects on the Switch Lite are fantastic. I love standing on the beach in the moonlight watching the waves come in and listening to the sound of the water.

Good game not hard to learn how to play and really fun!

So far everyone I know is in love with this game as soon as the start it. Even people who were never interested in animal crossing before love this version. Granted if you only love shooter games this won’t be your thing, but if you like cute games, you will love this. Right now my top 4 games is Zelda breath of the wild, animal crossing, Mario odyssey, and Skyrim.

I have been playing every day since purchase. It has easily become the best AC in the franchise to me. It's really nice that right now Nintendo is being really active in pushing bug fixes as players find and report them online. The only downside is that there only one island per Switch and only the first player can really participate in story elements of the game.

Fun game for family. My wife and I both have the game now after we both got switches. We honestly got tired of being on the same island.

Like many, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has made COVID easier. When the world is falling apart, you can always enjoy a little escapism. My wife and I both have a copy and while she plays more than I do, we both enjoy playing. This has been a great franchise and is well worth your money if you like casual, yet engaging game play.
