Very good entry in the series - better online features than previous games.

Great game and would be 5 stars but the grinding for bells becomes boring

best buy website defaulted to a store in another state EVEN THOUGH I was logged into my bestbuy account and had my preferred store setup and even selected the store during purchase. Needless to say my game didnt arrive on time and I had to put a bunch of extra effort in to get the game on release day...

It's been okay, doesn't live up to the hype and feels like it's for kids

Purchased because all my friends were playing it during the start of the pandemic quarantine. I do not enjoy it AT ALL. The dialogue is extremely repetitive, and essentially un-skippable. The game holds players back from completing anything in an expedient manner, at all times, by forcing you to click through lines and lines of the same conversations with NPCs at every interaction. I don't care enough about fashion or playing house to spend time acquiring or learning recipes to make things. And don't get me started on the "stalk market". The multiplayer part of the game, as with all nintendo online game features, is garbage; forcing all players on the island to watch as any player joins or leaves. Clearly, there are many that love this game. I don't. I should have known better.

Game is fine. Nothing exceptional. Switch needs to work on new content.

My kid loves this game. I played it with her and I’m bored out of my mind. It’s too much like real life....work to make money, buy crap, work more, buy more crap and/or upgrade the crap you have. I don’t get the appeal. I prefer to play games to escape this very monotony!
