Much better quality than earlier games in the franchise!

Not the best. Coming off of New Leaf, this game is lacking a ton of items and things to do. They out too much effort into the landscaping which quite frankly I didn’t care about. Desperately needs a big content update or even DLC

Households with multiple children can't share the game. Only one island per switch. If you have one child, it's lots of fun. Be ready for arguments among siblings if they try to share one island.

I mean it's Animal Crossing how much do you expect?

I’m already getting bored of it and I just started. Stardew was a cheaper game and held my interest for longer. Just my opinion.

I thought my 5/8 yo would eat this up but they got bored and this has probably gotten the least play time of all their games on the switch They are pretty good gamers butnibthink this is just geared to kids just a lil older.

Be careful and read all the latest Switch info. Purchased this to share between siblings. Meltdown occurred when they realized you can’t have two separate accounts/Islands on the same game anymore. Not buying another so they will have to figure it out.

Definitely a downgrade from New Leaf. A whole lot less to do than the originals, but a lot more customizability on nearly everything such as your island, clothing, your house and so on. Wish the game had the same charm it used to.

A lot of work, very fun, a lot of reading, and you must pay attention to get anywhere in the game. As an adult it's good, kids want instant gratification so they lose intrest quickly!!

First of, My 18 year old daughter absolutely loves it and I know a lot of people that are obsessed with it. I think that it's a very lazy design and not worth the money. I just can not believe the things that they get away with on a $60 game! For example: No mater what you build, it always looks the same. View can be changed only a little bit, you can not rotate around your character. Graphics is mediocre at best. Characters just make weird noises, they don't talk...etc! I would understand and be OK with all of that on a $20 game, but I still would not like the it!

I trlied it and it's boring. So far I don't know anyone who wants it either. Not for me.

It's a good game but there is so much of it related to the time of day you play and only so much you could do each day making it impossible to just keep playing all day instead you need to Regularly play it even day just to develop anything

This is a slow game and it also goes by real time so goodluck playing it at night. My kids share the switch, each have their own profile. This game allows only ONE main player PER CONSOLE! My daughter was in TEARS when she wasn't able to have her own island or do anything productive on her profile since my son created the island first. We had the game for 2 days and Bestbuy would not exchange it for a different game, only the SAME GAME. I was resorted to selling the game to gamestop and bought a different game with them instead.

When you preorder a game, you expect to get it on release day. With the whole covid19 thing, I can understand shipments of medical equipment, ppe and other like items can put a strain on shipments. Best Buy is only shipping electronics. While I love this game and have zero complaints about it, the shipment was a huge issue. I was suppose to receive this item on Friday, 3/20. I received this product 3 days later on 3/23. This came bundled with a “bell bag” which I received on release day. But the most important item was delayed. I was very unhappy with how Best Buy handled this shipment and I will think twice next time before buying a game online with them again.

Its okay. Kids will like it for a while. Eventually its too much work for them. Its all they will play for a couple months, then they move on and never really go back to it. Tho i see updates of new things advertised every month

Surprisingly underwhelming. My wife didn't enjoy it and I thought she was just not enjoying it because she is a picky gamer, but I tried playing too but didn't enjoy as much? Maybe just not my cup of tea.

I am personally not one to play slow games. I am more to games such as smash bros etc. I got the game to play with my sister but overall I think it’s alright. If you like Harvest moon you will like animal crossing

This is not the animal crossing I grew up loving on the Gamecube. Maybe the age gap through console generations helped contribute. This one wasn't for me. The online play hurt the game more than it helped it

Bought for mom who likes games like this but this game she was not interesting for her. too many popups in game to read. just to get started all the characters kept saying stuff.
