Great for fans, but definitely slow paced for a modern game. Multiplayer is a real issue and it is very clunky. Must use third party apps/ sites to get a good multiplayer experience.

You can play a fun game. Have fun on a happy holiday with your lover and friends.

My daughter wanted this game so badly but after playing it she was bored of it. She prefers to play Toca Boca than this. 4th grade critics are honest.

My daughter loves the game but finding out that you can only have one account on your entire Switch is a let down.

It’s only good for one player. I have twins and would need a new switch with a separate game in order for them both to play as leader.

Not for everyone. My son not old enough to read yet and you need to be able to read to follow directions on game

The kids like it ok but trying to get into multi player for same system is a pain. Or at least it was for us. We ended up watching YouTube videos to try and figure it out.

My children’s attention to this game wanders. Two players can setup their own island, but the steps required to do so are significant. Poor design.

The game is awesome but they say multiplayer however but you can all only play on the same island. Just not like being able your own game. It's not what it was supposed to be.

I've been a fan since the day the series started in the US. This series has now become too big for its own good, and that ruins the fun for me, and sadly, my wife.

We bought this game because everyone seemed to be doing it. Not very impressed, probably because I didn’t play the original.

I love the Animal Crossing series, but after you do everything it's really boring. I was playing everyday for a few months and then I maybe go in once a week now.

My daughter doesn't mind reading, but there are so many steps just to start, so it made it less engaging for her after about a week.

Charming, but missing a ton of things from the previous games. Felt empty and boring especially compared to its predecessor.

There is no warning that when transferring to a new switch the game needs to be transferred separately, causing all progress to be lost.
