fun for everyone—it’s so relaxing and so chill. granted, it can grow to be a little redundant, but overall it’s the kind of game that’s easy to lose yourself in. plus, it’s easy to connect with family and friends.

Great game for kids and parents. To fully enjoy the game with your family you will need multiple Switch units. The main user has more control over the island and secondary users tend to lose interest because of the lack of full interaction within the island.

Today it is so hard to find a good kids game that you don't need to monitor a whole lot. I believe this is one of them.

This has been my teenage daughter's favorite game. She absolutely loves it and is super excited to show off what she's creating. I have 7 and 8 yr old boys that weren't really into the game so it may only be appealing to older age groups.

A very fun game to play, the kids like it. As well as the adults. A lot of talking in the beginning but it gets better as the game progresses.

I now understand what the hype is all about. The game very cute! It’s oddly relaxing and a really fun. It keeps you engaged and is very entertaining. I’ve only played about three times and I’m really enjoying it.

I can’t even put down the controller for two minutes to write this review. Very addicting. So many possibilities. Even more fun to hang out with friends online. Just make sure you don’t have to update your island or donate to the museum when your gate is open.

Game is sooo good that my kids can’t stop fighting each other to play the game... my 5 year old can’t read and gets so mad that no one helps him to read, so he knows what to do next. Hopefully, this will encourage him to start reading sooner.

This review is based on a time in history where we are dealing with a pandemic called Covid-19. While there are many titles you can play for a quick gaming fix, Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Switch stands out. Not because it has flashy graphics or riveting dialog, but because it’s a great distraction. The game will entertain you and keep you coming back. Whether you play it daily or skip a few days to work, you’ll come back and enjoy this game. It allows you to escape to a virtual island where you start out with a tent and free to roam (albeit limited to the current island but you get to travel further as time goes on). The game includes seasonal activities that get incorporated. Whether you play during the day or during sunset you can find lots to due as the islands host and staff offer up many activities that you are tasked with completing. RECOMMENDED - great distraction.

last play AC on the GC back in like 03. was so excited for this release, and so far it has not disappointed. The only drawback is you can only have one island per switch, so if you have multiple people wanting their own island you have to have multiple switches

I initially got the game for my 10yr old. Fast forward to now, I am playing it more than her. This game has a Minecraft feel to it, It's adorable and in real time. The seasons change according to where you live or at least your region. It's addicting

I’m a longtime Animal Crossing player, but this would be an excellent and easy game for new players to pick up too. Nintendo has fixed nearly every complaint about the previous game, New Leaf, and added tons of new features as well. It was well worth the wait.

This game is the culmination of eight years of waiting. Nintendo has outdone themselves on this one and it is one of the best games I have played in a while. I was very glad Best Buy had the game in stock and I found the pre order process and service very good.

Love it really fun game! But the only bad thing and get me mad is that if you want to use the game in another console you can’t transfer your information from the other console. Juts remember if u want to buy another console you will start over all the game!

Most addictive game for all my girls. From mom to daughters, I no longer am the king of my switch. Parting is such sweet sorrow. I had too buy another switch and still don't get to play because they play together. Good problems, lol.

I'm here stuck at home and this game does plenty! It starts of painfully slow but it's okay! With friends it's a really enjoyable experience The only bad thing I have with this game is the one island per console save, but other than that It's such a good game!!

I can't tell you how long I have been waiting for this to come out! It is so amazingly beautiful and the interactions between the items, characters and even scenery is just stunning. Worth the wait and will kill hours and hours of my life but I don't even care!

I'm not typically in to this type of game but Animal Crossing adds Nintendo polish to the genre and slowly building up your island and upgrading your house is really addictive and relaxing. If you have a Nintendo Switch I would recommend trying it out!

Since purchasing Nov 11th, my wife plays this at least 8-10 hours a day 7 days a week. It has consumed her and caused many arguments about time management. Our house is ruined. I guess its a great game? :)

I had been delaying getting this game.. for who knows what reason.. but since playing, it has become a go-to daily for me to just zone out and relax.
