A fantastic entry into the Animal Crossing franchise that's enjoyable by series veterans and newcomers alike. It delivers on Animal Crossing's signature relaxing atmosphere while integrating lots of new features and reworks of old mechanics. A particular favorite of mine is the newly refurbished museum, where you can display various insects, fossils, or fish you've found around the island. While it is generally a wonderful game, it suffers from one huge problem. If your Nintendo Switch is shared between multiple people, the first person to play New Horizons will be the only one who can partake in the main story. As of this writing, there isn't a way around this other than buying another Nintendo Switch. Because of this, I've had to dock a star from what would otherwise be a perfect review. I truly hope Nintendo decides to do something to change this in the future.

Pretty fun game for those that like a free roaming based game with little to no story. Easy to fall in and out of active playing. Would not recommend for those that like to get sucked into a game and stick with it.
