This is a really great game for people of all ages! It emphasizes values, such as: patience, respect, and responsibility. Best of all, it’s endlessly entertaining and the perfect calm break from the chaos of life.

Do you like Stardew Valley, Minecraft, and/or being in debt? Well this game is for you! Take on the Tom Nook and his ever growing fascination in Bells, your islands currency, as you grow your tiny tent, into a large home. I won't spoil the rest since it is truly one of my favorites, and half the fun is learning and experimenting in the game, but this is one of the best games you can buy that has endless play-ability.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was/is heralded as one of, if not, the best game to play during this 2020 global pandemic. I can definitely see why/ the mass appeal. It's very simplistic in nature, but, at the same time, very involved, engaging, addicting, and oddly relaxing. Get ready to invest lots of time in this game, especially, if you're the type of gamer who likes to complete/collect everything. Adults will appreciate and/or shake their heads at all the puns/dad jokes, while kids will learn all the game's equivalent of real-life money management (buying/selling goods), building/crafting/customizing, and the stock market (in the form of turnips). All in all, think Sim City + The Sims + Minecraft on a deserted tropical island. Enjoy, everyone.

It's very fun my fiance bought it for both of us and I have been hooked on it while he's at work. It's a great game for any kid 10+ nothing too difficult to learn you actually put recipes together and collect fruits, plants etc.

I love this game. It is so cute and wholesome and villagers sometimes make me laugh out loud. Today (May 1st) is my birthday and the villagers that I've made friends with ACTUALLY THREW ME A BIRTHDAY PARTY! With gifts and everything. I've played the previous games in this series so I understand the mechanics better than someone who hasn't. For example, to avoid getting stung by the wasps, have your net ready then try to catch them. Also you can use their nest to create medicine if you do get stung. I would recommend that if you've never played any games in this series that you watch some YouTube videos to help you.

Lots to do in the latest version. Love being able to set things up outside and actually build up the island. Although extremely disappointed in buying miles to travel and end up on the same island four times in a row. Not buying anymore until this part of the game is fixed. I've played all different times when traveling, but land on same tiny island with waterfall and nothing but the same fish and fruit on my island. Bass...pears. The characters are wonderful to interact with and I love the crafting. The graphics are great. Not disappointed in game at all just that one travel thing that's supposed to be random each time. Well worth having but beware of scalpers and ones on "A" pricing game and consoles at 600-700 claiming the consoles were discontinued. Talk about GOUGING.

This is my first foray into an Animal Crossing title. It's a great game for any level of gamer. It is easy to pick up and instead of being overwhelmed with information the game slowly introduces new aspects of gameplay as it progresses. A lot of fun, interesting and a great "world building" type of game. This is not the type of game for someone looking to beat a game really quick and move on. Though I don't think someone would pick up an Animal Crossing game with that expectation. The game exists in real time and it definitely takes time to get through daily tasks and build the island the way you want it. If you're looking for a calm game that lets you build and fish to your content I highly recommend this game.

This is a great casual game for everyone in the family to enjoy. If you are new or old to this franchise, or have never picked up a video game until this Corona outbreak. Sit back relax and enjoy an laid back island adventure. In this game ure character is chosen as the island representative that means you get to choose where everything goes on the island. This is not a fast paced game, the same day, date, and time as the real world is also happening in your game. You turn on the game in the morning its morning in game, in the afternoon same, night same. The game also rewards you for slightly different experience in morning, noon, or night game play, with only certain fish, or bugs that come out at those times. Have, fun, explore, fish, catch bugs, plant flowers and trees.

I purchased this for my wife. She only enjoys games that doesn't require intensive controls. This game is relaxing and has plenty to do. She has been playing the game non-stop in her free time. Clocking in over 150 hours.

I'm an adult who never played the original animal crossing games because we only owned a super Nintendo and every Playstation known to man. I wasn't too sold when my friends who were obsessed with the game kept bugging me to get it so we could play together, but I finally caved when I realized I could use my Best Buy rewards and birthday coupon to purchase it at a lower price (ya know, just so I didn't feel like I wasted a bunch of money I something I didn't like). Well....I'm a true convert! This game is so much fun and so relaxing! I really feel like I missed out on something as a kid, but I'm so glad my friends pressured me to getting this! It's a great game for casual play or for serious players who want to take advantage of the daily goals and challenges.

My husband bought this game at release (03/25/20) & started playing, I’ve never played any of the Animal Crossing games before and since I don’t play much video games I would just watch him play, after a couple of weeks, I took over his game! & then a couple of months later I decided to buy my own console & game & create my own island. Best decision I made. It’s such an addicting game, you go at your own pace and it’s fun. Game was easy to learn. There is so much to do in the game. I’ve been playing for about a year now, and love the updates, seasonal items that pop up. You sure don’t get bored with this game & it can get time consuming but definitely love playing!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a must have! Practically unput-downable (good thing I have some time on my hands)! If you are familiar with the Animal Crossing storyline, New Horizons follows the same general formula with a few fresh twists. Took Nook is back at it again, only this time offering all inclusive vacations to an uncharted desert island in hopes of building a bustling tourist and residential hub. Plays in real time, morning noon and night. Enjoy the seasons. Experience the volatility of island weather. The graphics are beautiful and fun! You will simply get lost in island life as you work to build the best new home you can imagine, for hours at a time! Don’t think twice about it. This will be the best new purchase for your Switch, I guarantee it!

Animal Crossing has always been a bit formulaic, but New Horizons changes it up and allows a lot more creativity that we previously had to hack our games for. Nintendo really listened to what its fans wanted and delivered.

Great Game to Play During Quarantine

Remember what is was like to go out and visit your friends? This games let's you relive that experience. Create an island decorate and terraform to your liking. Visit friends islands see how they decorated their virtual island. Explore other island harvest all their resources only to build a bigger better island for yourself. This is slow paced methodical game that uses real time to dictate what you can do in your virtual island. You could cheat by changing the clock on your switch but at that point you might aswell just break your switch since you don't value how the game is supposed to be played. if you wants to accomplish chores in a digital landscape to forget about the looming threat of the coronavirus this game is for you 10/10 would recommend.
