Excellent game, I recommend it for children. very funny

Great game to unwind, relax and build. It has no fights and you only have to keep your temper and patience when hunting/fishing. You start with basic daily tasks and you slowly begin to build up your island with neighbors. It is a collectors paradise, be it clothing, bugs, fish, art, music, recipes, or fossils. Playing the game on different times through the day yield different options. They have seasonal things to do and it’s fun. You can modify your island into your pleasure or just concentrate on making it great. You can have visitors over or visit friend or other islands. Many things to do with this game, just choose your style of gameplay and go. :3

Animal Crossing is such a cute game. It’s so fun and overall it’s customizable too. However, it can get repetitive and sometimes all you can do is wait. This is definitely the kind of game you’d want to buy a more interactive game alone with. If you really want this game, also look into getting more action packed or challenging games (unless of course you want to play strictly for relaxing and leisure purposes). Overall it’s a super cute and fun game, and the more you get into the game the less of a waiting type it becomes, since there is more action on the island. Seasons always make the game fun too, so just consistent playing will make the game even better :)

Super fun, fans of past Animal Crossing games will be sure to enjoy it, and it's friendly for anyone new to the series as well! I've already spent a lot of time playing it, very happy I pre-ordered it!

Animal Crossing New Horizons is hands down the best in the series. The game has managed to build and polish above all of the previous titles in the series while also managing to be unique in its own way. The gameplay systems and loops are more rewarding then ever and continue to build at a nice piece (Non Time Traveler here). The photo mode really shows the overhaul of the design of items. It's been one week and I've logged 65 hours of game time, partly due to current events but time well spent. I would add that this game is not for everyone so I would watch/read a variety of views before diving in if you're on the fence. For those who have enjoyed previous titles I'd highly recommend this title.

Been a can of this franchise for a long time, I spent countless hours on the other games and I already am doing the same with this one. The graphics are out standing for the switch, even in handheld mode, and how much more they added overall to the game just makes it where you still spend more and more time with it. While there are some things I wish were kept implemented from New Leaf along with other features, it doesn't put poorly on how I feel about the game and I am sure some things will come in future updates since now it's much easier to update games on the switch compared to the 3DS. I look forward to what more this game can give and finding out all I can create to make the perfect island!

Great relaxing game, has a lot of time gating but it adds to the charm

Got hooked and play this all the time. Even after "beating" the game...which it sort of considers getting a 3 Star Island and K.K. visiting...I still keep going and getting more. Goals now are keeping a 5 Star island and collecting everything. This was actually a copy for my 2nd Switch, so other family members can join an island and visit each other to do even more along with trading items. I wish the Local Network connection was more stable and stayed in sync. First time we played with it we spent two hours helping each other then it disconnected and we lost everything. The Online play which requires the Family Plan seems to cache on their servers and not have issues unless someone disconnects wrong or their battery goes dead. I think they could have done it better on the Local Network too, but chose to optimize the one you have to give them money for. I have a Gigabit local network which should be faster and more stable than both devices connecting to an outside internet server to communicate when 5 feet from each other and we even got ethernet adapters to rule out Wifi issues.

If you're looking for a really fun laid-back game, look no further. If you're already a fan of the series, and for some reason you haven't played this yet, it's probably the best in the series.

Bought this for my son and he loves it. Fun to play solo but he really enjoys playing with his friends and cousins. So many things to do and keep him entertained for hours at a time.

My daughters love it! Building villages and homes and gardens, this game is very fun!

This is a fun and relaxing game to play after a day's work. Good for kids to play as it helps them to be creative and patient as the game requires hard work lol to collect stuff. Recommended!

This game is so addictive. Very pretty graphic and love the relaxing island getaway vibe that it creates. Easy enough for younger audience but also challenging enough for adult. Highly recommended.

Animal Crossing New Horizons truly delivers on pure fun and joy. The formula of AC remains intact but with very nice improvements courtesy of the Switch console. The game runs at 720p handheld and 1080p docked. The graphics are sharp and vibrant and the development team took extra care to make it shine. The lighting os’s spectacular and sharing is impressive (just look at the light blooms and shadows cast from the sun). Not to mention the art style is fantastic and cute. Overall the game is addictive with its simple routines of collecting, crafting, and improving your island getaway home; however, there’s also a slight depth to the game that is a blast to discover. Highly recommended! A, 9/10

My daughters favorite game i do believe plays everyday since Christmas last year. You build your on island and lots of other things. Would buy again and again.

This is my 1st AC game but it has been such an enjoyable experience all around. Its a game where you set up and help establish a small community on a deserted island. You get to meet and interact with different types of characters and help the island grow. I never thought that a game where you plant vegetation, fish, catch bugs, craft items, and decorate your home/island could be so enjoyable. Its a simple game but its very relaxing and fun to play. It can also be played with others via online/local coop so you can play with friends. Its definitely a great game to play while we're all stuck home and its me hooked. o yourself a favor and give the game a try, you'll end up enjoying it.

It's a blessing this game released when it did. The near endless amount of customization options, generally relaxing atmosphere and online component has made staying at home so much more bearable.

My 11yo son wanted this game badly for Christmas from watching other kids play. After getting it his brother was watching him play and enjoyed watching so much that he wanted to get the game as well. Two copies later, they tell me that they would like to play together in the game. The only way to allow that to happen is to subscribe to the Nintendo online. Instead of buying 2 individual subscriptions, I got the family subscription.... was cheaper. Now they can play together. I got suckered into it. But it's a fun game, non-violent. They say it is relaxing to play and not stressful, like the fighting or other competitive games.
