I got this game on a whim, but I ended up enjoying it! I didn’t think I would enjoy it much seeing at it was very popular and I have trouble trying to play games with a large audiences. But it is really fun!

I have played this game nonstop, and love it! So much content, and they keep adding free content to the game monthly. So fun, and easy to play. Very relaxing, and fun!

My kids have had so much fun with this game, even my teens enjoy. They are able to sync with their friends and visit each others villages. Definitely would recommend.

This game is a slow burn but in the best way possible. The game is what you make it, literally speaking in some cases. You can put in hours on end or just a few minutes at a time picking fruit and digging for fossils. There's always new visitors to your island with new things to buy, and events and updates from Nintendo always keep things fresh. If you've loved Animal Crossing games in the past, you know what you're getting into and this is the best one yet. If you're new to the franchise, this is the perfect game to jump into. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for the perfect time suck during quarantine!

It is easy to relax and just have some fun, not matter what age you are.

Love this game!!!! It's fun and very enjoyable, however if you like AAA action-packed games, this is not for you.

Not just for the kids!! Animal crossing appears very cutesy on the surface, but the game has a lot to offer in terms of depth and complexity to both experienced and new gamers alike. Animal crossing has to be by far the best game to put in the hands of a brand new gamer. I recently purchased an ACNH Switch Console for my girlfriend who is certainly not a gamer… she’s easily logged 15 hours in the game over the course of the last few evenings and has already begun researching other games she may enjoy playing on her new switch.

I don't know if it's the COVID-19 shelter in place or the game but it's become a routine to play this in all of my free time. I've played so much that I don't know how life can be without Animal Crossing. The "story" content of unlocking stuff can be done rather quickly (I finished in 10 days. Other friends finished in 7), but after that the customization, capitalism and island hopping adventures really take off and you find yourself swapping turnip prices and DIY recipes with strangers just so you can get everything done and everything you wanted, God I thought I would hate this game, but it's actually enjoyable.

Purchased this and have been so happy with it. Lots of fun for all ages. I do wish you could have more than one island on a single console but that is my only complaint.

This is a game you play a little (or a lot) each day. You complete tasks and earn money in order to build up and customize your island. Lots of bugs, fish, dino bones, clothing, items to collect. You do need to be patient in order to make progress since game time reflects actual time in real life. Trees grow over several days, projects finish the next day, etc. Great for people looking for casual, stress-free gameplay. Objectives don't change much day to day but you choose how you spend your time whether it's crafting, fishing, catching bugs, digging bones, customizing island. Sandbox game with hardly any consequences.

I have played the Pocket Camp for a few years. This game is turning out to be just as fun.

Ive played every single Animal Crossing game, and this one might be the best yet. There's so much customizing you can do now - changing the layout of your island, moving villagers' houses around, being able to put furniture and other items outside, the list goes on. Super customizable experience, if you get addicted to this game, you will easily spend hundreds of hours perfecting your house and island. Runs great as well, the load times are slightly long, and visiting other players' islands is sort of a hassle, but that's Nintendo games for you. Overall, a lovely experience.

This is one of the first games I bought for the Switch, which I also bought right in the beginning of quarantine. I can honestly say that even though I also bought Breath of the Wild around the same time, all I want to do is play Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You wouldn't think that living on a virtual deserted island and being in eternal debt to a tanuki named Tom would be as much fun as it is, but it is. One of my favorite aspects of the game is the ability to live on a COVID-free island and have the ability to pay off enormous debts at no interest. In all seriousness, buy this game, it won't disappoint.

I've been an Animal Crossing fan since the 1st one came out almost 20 years ago, and this one might be my favorite installment yet. The graphics are smooth and make everything look so cute. The gameplay retains enough of the original game to appeal to old players but has some new features that make it interesting. If it's your first foray into Animal Crossing don't worry about having to play any of the other games first, this is a standalone game and they teach you how to play in the beginning. I ordered it online from Best Buy and it arrived on time the next day. I can't recommend the game enough!

It's a simple and easy game. Developing an island is super simple and creative. The directions are easy to follow. It's a good game for a casual gamer.
