If you're looking for a game that you can keep coming back to and play pretty much every day: look no further. I've put about 50 hours into the game so far and still feel like there's so much left to do with it. The amount of freedom and customization available in this game is incredible. It's almost limitless in a way. The game was released at kind of the perfect time, considering many people are stuck inside. If you're stuck inside for an extended period of time and only have one game: if this is the game, you'll be pretty entertained.

Highly entertaining game! So much more involved than previous Animal Crossing games.

Animal crossing is great fun if you are not in a hurry. Since the game moves in real time, it can be slow at first, and with social media, it can be hard to not compare your progress with others. If you can just enjoy your island and not get caught up in that, it is relaxing. The only two issues are NPCs are so talkative that transactions are clunky, so repetitive ones are downright annoying and some controls could certainly be better for a modern game. Both of those I think are trying to use the excuse of "dont rush" to make them ok.

I didn't play previous version of this game, but I love this one! It's easy for everyone, and a lot to do in game, so you won't get bored!

The first Animal Crossing I played was the original one on Gamecube back when it came out and I enjoyed it for what it was. Same with the Wii version. I thought at this point in my life I had "out-grown" the series and I wouldn't get much enjoyment out of it, but boy was I wrong. This is easily the best game in the series and the sense of progression you get from visiting the island every day and slowly building it up to what you want it to be is a blast. I know I'll continue to play it for the months, and possibly even years, to come.

The game play is good and it enhances the creativity of a person. Relaxing and soothing background music and it interacts with the nature.

My daughter loves this game. Not much to it but very easy to pick up and play if you are looking for a game to relax and play.

I love this game. It’s so fun and you get to start off on your own island and make it your own! Very amusing and a great way to be creative.

I was able to pick it up at my local Best Buy after pre ordering. We are just getting started with it but so far my son and I are really enjoying it. Got to by pass all the reviews of others unhappy about the digital download and focus on the reviews of the actually game itself. Stay safe and healthy everyone!

My first real entry into the series and I have to say that I'm glad I dipped my toes into the franchise. You can do as little or as much as you want in this game where you basically make up whatever objectives you want. There's a couple things the game wants you to do but ultimately you're left to do what you want for the most part. The latest edition to the series of games doesn't fail to deliver in my opinion, I can now see why so many people like these games. Reminds of the sims in many ways that I would play when I was younger!

Great game. My 11 year old loves it. Easy to setup. My kid had no issues getting it started and playing.

Best switch game next to Breath of the Wild. It game is fun to play for all ages. Very cute graphics.

Fun game! Time moves in real time so it is a slower progressing game but gives you enough things to do to keep you busy.

This game is amazing and it’s the best game for the Nintendo Switch. It’s definitely addictive and it was released at the right time.

I am a newcomer myself to the Animal Crossing series. This has been such an amazing experience during these trying times. I have yet to fully explore everything this game has to offer but I am excited nonetheless. Consider purchasing this game if you want a more relaxed approach to video games. There is always something to do, you will have to take this game one day at a time. No need to rush, the anticipation of finding new treasures is a wonderful experience. I hope you enjoy this beautifully crafted game and I bid you a farewell.

It's unfortunate I didn't get this game on release date even if I bought it in advance because of the lockdowns. Anyway, I received it a couple of days after and I have been playing it on the daily ever since. This game has been my friend and probably the only thing I look forward to everyday (a bit of an exaggeration, but y'know). Been an AC villager since City Folk, got hooked on New Leaf, put a dent on my bank account (like actual money) with Pocket Camp, and so very thankful for New Horizons. AC for life, my mans.

Such a fun game and easy way to waste hours of your life. You can Get really creative or not at all it's really up to you. Great game!

I play this game with my moms a lot and it’s great. I enjoy visiting peoples island. Very cute.

I've played animal crossing in my childhood on the DS so I was super excited to play this on the switch! I literally bought the switch to play this game and have been playing it every day since! It's super relaxing and I love being able to connect with my friends to play this. I get to visit all my favorite characters from the past and there are neat new additions like putting furniture on your island that makes it so much fun! Plus there are new holiday updates every so often so it never gets old!

This is one of my favorite switch games. I can literally spend hours playing it. I like being able to have the ability to have my island set up how I want it and also be able to have where I want trees and flowers. Also, being able to terraform and make my island different is also fun! If you do not own this game, you need to. Also, it’s fun to be able to play with friends on online play or if you have someone close by you that also has the game on the switch, you can play local play as well. It’s fun for the whole family!
