I loved animal crossing growing up, and New Horizons does not disappoint! Lots of familiar faces, and events happening all the time.

This a cute fun game for the whole family to play. My kids love this game. I would gift this game to others.

I only started playing Animal Crossing a year ago on a 3DS, and while that was nice, this feels right. Of course it still has the same idea, but the way it was executed is perfect. The graphics are so beautiful, it's exactly what AC needed. Since I don't share my Switch, it's no issue for me that there is only one save file allowed per Switch. Not per account, per Switch. Which is unfortunate for a family or a couple. I have no personal issues with it myself and highly recommend it to anyone just starting or a long-time fan!

This is my first Animal Crossing game of the franchise. My girlfriend is a big fan and we play it together. There is the ability to play the game couch co-op, but we mainly take turns playing the game. This game isn't just for kids as there is a following of all ages. There's a lot to do and sometimes it does get repetitive. Online play with friends is fairly stable when you want to visit each other's island or other people's islands through a code. Good humor and very enjoyable in the game. Definitely worth the investment.

Bought this for a gift to an 8 year old boy and he plays it every chance he gets. Gamers of all types and ages can enjoy this game.

It’s a lot of fun, I’ve really been enjoying it! I share my island with my younger brother and we enjoy playing together at the same time. I know people say sharing the island is stressful but I guess my brother and I are already used to sharing things anyways. It’s very calming and entertaining, I especially like the freedom it gives the players to customize their island how they like it. I plan on buying the online membership so I can visit my friends island since we can’t see each other irl.

I have been an animal crossing fan since the GameCube version. I always found this game to be so darn addicting and there is always something to do!! :) Animal crossing has come a long way they even had a couple games on the wii but I honestly wasn’t much of a fan for those versions. Now the Nintendo switch version is on a whole nother level! Graphics, gameplay, characters and customization is amazing! Get this game if you’ve been a long time fan or if you’re looking for an everyday game.

I'm not going to lie fore some reason I think I like this game more than my kids do. Don't tell anyone. It really is a fun little builder game, plenty to do and keep you entertained. Some areas of long dialog boxes --being able to read helps but my 6 year old can figure it out. 1 warning--While it's multiplayer, really it is one player profile that unlocks everything. The others have most of the full game experience but really you are just living on the island of the key profile

This game is perfection. Being that it is more therapeutic than wonder bread, more relaxing than Bob Ross, and more sensational than a newborn fox, nothing can compare. This game could go into history books with the text "This game soothed the minds, hearts, and souls of millions." Thank you Animal Crossing. I nominate each and every person who worked on the game, and Tom Nook, for a Nobel Peace Prize. Thank you.

Anyone looking for a great relaxing game to spend time with family and friends, this is it. Animal Crossing is a no consequence game designed for hours of relaxing play to build and populate your deserted island with a myriad of arriving residents. You just build and craft your island to support the residents and make bells(money). This have had brought entertainment to my entire family. You can play online an have other players visit your island as well. Plenty to do in the new stay at home environment.

This game is amazing! I've been a fan of the Animal Crossing series since the start, way back on the GameCube. So if you're a longtime fan of the game, you'll definitely love this one. But even if you've never played an Animal Crossing game before, this is a great place to start! They've made a lot of quality-of-life improvements to the series in this game and added some really great new functionality (don't want to spoil that specifically), and I think it's even more accessible. New Horizons is a delight to play.

Super fun game. So many things to do and ways to customize your island and meet all sorts of villagers. Great for family too.

Great game, my 6 and 11 year old girls love it. It's about building a community. Similar to sims like we had back in the day.

Great game. Have always been a fan of Animal Crossing. This latest version has improved in every way. Numerous details added in the graphics department, including shadows on the ground from moving clouds, and also other lighting effects. Spoiler alert.... Tom Nooks is still the mortgage mafia. Only complaint is that only 1 island can be chosen to be played per Switch unit at a time. The game was released just when the US was locked down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Great unplanned public service on Nintendo's part.

I've never played an Animal Crossing game before, but I got it with the intent of having a game I can casually play for 5 minutes for 45 minutes. It's got a ton of charm, it's cozy, the music is great; there's not much I can say that's negative other than I'm not a huge fan of some of the UI design choices, but I'd still give it a 5/5. :)

I bought this game as a gift for my fiancée and she cannot stop playing it. Very fun and I love how creative you can get with it.

We bought it for our 14 year old daughter and she's really enjoying playing this game. It's really interactive and makes you think.
