I bought three copies (me/wife, daughter, and mother in law) and we all love it. The customization is much deeper in this game than in past iterations. It is easy to get into and everyday there is something new to do. So far, it has been an excellent experience. My four year old live visiting her sister's (13) island and playing hide and seek in the game. This is a must buy for Animal Crossing fans and is especially fit to the portable abilities of the Switch.

The music and graphics are very pleasant and well done. There are lots of activities and goals to achieve which make you want to keep playing just a little longer. The social aspect is fun also. Lots of ways to be creative and make your island your very own.

Ive been playing animal crossing since 2005 when it came out on the original Nintendo DS system. This newest one on the Switch is amazing. I didn’t think they would go as far as they did with the endless customizations, but they did! I think it’s a game for everyone because it’s a game you play in your own way. You can play online with friends and you can play solo by yourself. I recommend to anyone who is buying a switch or has a switch to buy this game, too.

I don't own any other game that has been as versatile as this one. It can be something to do just do a daily 20-30 minutes on, but also a game that I can binge for hours at a time. My girlfriend has enjoyed it as a long-time player of the franchise, and I've enjoyed it as my first Animal Crossing game. This game has a blend of satisfying visuals, engaging play, and replayability that I believe will make this a defining game of the Switch era.

Animal Crossing has been a staple in Nintendos repertoire since Nintendo 64 (in Japan). It took root on Game Cube here in the states. But every iteration increases variety complexity and pushes everything up to the top notch. New Horizons is no different. Its fixed everything from the Wii version and definitely surpasses the DS darling. If you are a Switch owner you owe it to yourself to pick this one up. You'll have your village up and lively in no time!!

great game for all ages... fun, good graphics, easy to learn and play with other on-line friends

I got this game for my girlfriend during COVID and she loves it. I wasn't sure how she'd respond because she usually sticks to puzzle games on her phone, but I think this game transcends traditional gaming barriers. She calls her sister and they visit each others islands and are sometimes on the playing together for hours. I think this really helps distract from what's going on, and definitely helps her not get too much "cabin fever". Would recommend.

This game has been the perfect escape during quarantine. I even bought a second copy for a friend! I was a big fan of the last Animal Crossing and the developers have put so much love and work into New Horizons. Many friends who are new to Animal Crossing are absolutely hooked! The detail of animals' fur and landscape is really beautiful and even the sounds they recorded just make the whole game come to life. It's so peaceful and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This game is addicting. Our whole family plays it. It keeps you engaged with creativity and mini missions.

Daughter loves it. Graphics are pretty good for a switch game. There's hours of content.

As a veteran Animal Crossing player, I highly recommend this game. It brings the fun of the previous games to a whole new level with nice bright & colorful graphics, new things to do and is just all around a good time. I do wish there was more to the gameplay and hope previous modes like underwater diving are brought back in future updates and more dialogue for the residents but all that aside it retains the same Animal Crossing charm. It's very addicting!

I have never played an Animal Crossing game before, but this purchase has been totally worth it! There are so many fun aspects - from catching fish/insects and collecting artwork artwork to create a wonderful museum to customizing your house/island down to the last tree. The multiplayer function is not as fun as expected, but this is made up by the fact that you can travel to friends’ islands and visit them. I definitely recommend checking out this game!

Just a fun and simple game. Really easy to learn. I'm kind of late to game but I would still recommend it.

It's pretty cute, easy to use and get into. The controls are simple and the gameplay lood is pretty satisfying

My wife loved this game This is the first game she has ever got. We have a nintendo switch but she never used it until we got this game What an incredible and relaxing game it has been! So good to play between couples or family, with much different quests and things to do so you can never get bored. I suggest also to get the nintendo online membership, because there's a new way of sharing and getting important in game experience

Beat animal crossing game made so far. Hours of entertainment everyday! Great for imagination and creativity.

I came into this franchise with very little previous knowledge about the series but I was pleasantly surprised with this game. The game's visual design is breathtakingly stunning. The multiplayer mode adds another fun element to the game, although the animation cutscenes do get annoying. One of my favorite aspects of the game is customizing my character and the island with clothes, accessories and furniture. I love how creative the player community gets.

There is A LOT to do in this game. There is no real objective (other than paying off your house), but I think even non-Animal Crossing fans can still enjoy this — especially if you do online play. New Horizons is more forgiving in how you want to place objects, and guest characters visit often enough to keep things interesting. The beginning might feel slow, but afterwards you get quickly get more ways to build your island, which is when it really gets fun.

This game is everything I wanted in the new Animal Crossing. No micro transactions like the iOS/Android version, which I feared may be added to this new iteration. Coming from the Wild World version, it’s everything I loved there and a lot more! Lots of new little things to keep it interesting! Definitely recommend this if you previously liked Animal Crossing. If you’ve never played and you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, zen-like game to play, this is it!
