Daughter adores this game. Even I like playing this fun game.

My daughters are both over 16 and have loved Animal Crossing since they were little, and it was a Wii game. So glad it's available for the Switch now. It's a fun and clean game and teaches about buying, selling, creating, home ownership, getting out of debt etc. etc. Nintendo also has an option to buy a yearly membership to be able to play with each other on- line when you live in two different households or towns.

So much fun!!!! I love playing this game!!! Need more friends to play with me.

It's more of a life simulation with quirky characters, collectibles, habitat customizations, and little surprises here and there with no major conflicts or world ending scenarios. Fish, dig, chop trees, create furniture and tools, sell things, and catch bugs. Then you rinse and repeat. Personalize your whole island and show it off to your friends. A good game for those who want to play in a stress free environment.

Super fun game, quick to get a hang of and gives you step by steps on what to do.

This game is really enjoyable! Day 1 pick up and there's always something to do on that island. But the game isn't made for players looking for a story or deep mechanics. This game is made to be simple for those looking to de-stress, whether you've had a bad day or just feeling lonely. WARNING, This game registers 1 island per console, so if you are sharing a console with multiple accounts expect to share the island.

I pre ordered this game as my first animal crossing game Ive ever played and it was the best game purchase I’ve ever made! Ive had the game for about a month now and, especially with everyone having to stay home, I have easily gotten in over 200 hours of gameplay! Theres so much to do in this game that even after playing as many hours as I have, I still have a lot of work to get done on my island! Highly recommend!

I immediately knew I wanted to buy this once it was announced. I have not been let down! I’ve played animal crossing throughout my years (City folk and New leaf). This was definitely a step up! It is such a relaxing game to play at the end of the day to rewind and I love all my neighbors! The new craft option really makes things feel real and I’m not just scrambling to get money. I love it playing this game so much!

This game is honestly the best way to keep myself distracted during the COVID-19 pandemic. The simple joy of running around building a life on a deserted island is a lot more soothing than I expected, and one unexpected thing that I found I really appreciate is that there isn't any need for "recharging" or "energy bars" the way that some other games have. Honestly, I enjoyed it so much, I bought my dad a copy too.

My friends always told me to get animal crossing because it was good and I never really believed them. To me, I thought the game was boring given I usually play games like the Witcher or Warframe. Something that has a story line, action and boss battles. But I think this is a nice game when you just want to relax. You play this game at your pace and just create your island the way you want. Plus, it's super cute!

It's like sims, but cute and it's your own island! you can visit friends island (once you're able to fly, you do need the Nintendo Online subscription to do so though) catch bugs, go fishing, design outfits, customize colors on furniture and equipment! many hours of fun at a time. It is based on real time though, so certain things you do and achieve, will not be recognized til the next day, minus that, fun fun times

I had never played animal crossing before New Horizons. On paper, it’s just not my style of game whatsoever. But during the pandemic I gave it a shot and now I’m in love. You might get bored of it with time, but not until you’ve dumped 100+ hours into it. I bought this copy for a friend who’s getting my old Switch after I upgraded to the OLED model.

this game has animals that are on an island and you are also on an island so i guess that you are animal so that is new gameplay mecahinic would like to see more of that explored i wish I could be more animal look like but game doesnt let you would be very attrative if I could be may be next game we can be attrative animal and live with others and make romantic would be very great and very attrative good game A+

Been a fan of Animal Crossing games for years. I love seeing it on the "big screen" and seeing the characters in 3D. Definitely a fun game. A knock against it is that there is only 1 island per console. So you cannot have two separate player have their own island. I have seen a bunch of negative reviews just because of this restriction. I would think Nintendo will be opening it up later in 2020. Happy gaming.

Daughter finished Zelda - BOTW and wanted to try something different than BOTW or Mario Kart. Heard about this and she was interested. Bad news is, she can't put it down and sometimes it is a bit of a tussle to have her do her chores and school work, etc. She's 11 and really likes the open-ended nature of the game, etc. From near as I can tell, it is like the oldschool Sim City but for a younger audience.

Great game! Good family friendly content that will keep you entertained for hours!
