I've been playing animal crossing since the first game on GC. When I heard this was coming out I reserved it through best buy before it was ever added to the store page. This game does not disappoint and proves that Nintendo knows what they are doing, and I would recommend this game to anyone. Just beware of the Sea Bass.. all of them..

Much needed for our state mandated social distancing! Keeps all ages in the family busy, especially our 5yr old. Whether it’s fishing, crafting, building, collecting, dressing up, or just following tasks, it’s a great time killer. You can spend hours doing many things, perfect if you want something to keep everyone in the family busy.

Super fun but addictive game, once you start the game it’s hard to stop lol

Great game. Its really peacful and nice to decompress after a long day. Only sad thing is that Nintendo no longer plans to update the game as they originally promised to provide them for a few years.

Animal Crossing is a good way to spend time with your family and friends while we all sit at home due to the pandemic. Essentially, it's two things - a resource collection grind and a decorating exercise, wrapped in a social twist. With no prior exposure, I thought it would be more like Stardew Valley, so got it to play with my kid, who likes that game but can get stressed out by the time management functions. Turns out they have little in common, though she likes them both. It's the sort of game we don't play often, but check in with every month, and with some family members living apart, it's a weird, fun if kinda sad way to "spend some time" together.

My wife's last game was Aladdin on Sega Genesis. I wasn't very optimistic when she asked for me to pick this up for her with our Switch purchase. I was wrong... she now has get-togethers with her friends in-game and has purchase Animal Crossing t-shirts. She even has made paintings and clothing in-game that match what we have at home.

The newest entry of the Animal Crossing series, New Horizons, is a fantastic game. Nintendo has continued to perfect the mechanics and gameplay of the franchise, allowing new player and returning players to quickly get into the huge array that the game offers over time. If you have an itch to broaden your horizons, this is a good choice!

I bought this for my grandaughter for Christmas. She loves playing games especially with her brother. I actually purchaced the Nintindo Switch for both of them. They had been saying that was what they wanted for christmas. The folks at Best Buy were very helpful. I am sure there will be big smiles on christmas day.

Love the game but wish they'd develop more new content! Also, not sure I'll play this much in the future since I've accomplished all the things you can, and holidays seem consistent across years. This game gives ~2 months of light play plus very occasional check-ins. I like it a lot but wish there were more to do.

I've had this game for about a month and I absolutely adore it. If you're a fan of a game that progresses organically, and is slow but very sandboxy I'd recommend this game. There are so many cute new features that have been improvements on the older games. I don't know if Nintendo can top Animal Crossing as the game to play this year.

This is a great game for kids. Very peaceful, entertaining and they can connect with friends online to play together.

I never played any previous animal crossing games so I did not know what to expect. I bought this game based on the recommendations from my friends and now I understand why they liked it so much. You play at your own pace and get to design your island to your liking. It’s a great game for anyone, serious and casual gamers of all ages

Bought this game for my wife as it seemed to have a near cult following by the ladies. Didn't disappoint, she loves it. Even has our daughter and Grandma in on it. I have no idea what it is, looks... like not for me is what it looks like, but those girls love it!

Such a wonderful recreation of my childhood. I seriously play it every chance I get! I have found new things to love about this game that I regret not appreciating before (playing Wild World). Every day has a new adventure so there is always something to draw you back in. It’s worth every cent, so if you are on the fence just go for it!

Really like the game play. It has asome graphics, vibrant colors and some new charaters. The crafting system is great I just wish there was a way to auto-craft and craft mutiple items at once. (p.s. Nintendo please add the best waifu of anime, Robert E. O. Speedwagon into the game I'm begging you here please make this happen...)

I bought this game, because I wanted to be able to enjoy playing it like I saw my daughter do. I'm glad I made the decision because it has enabled me to do that and so much more. One of the things I enjoy most is swimming in the ocean and collecting items to either sell, or to donate to my island museum.

I have played this game somewhere between 1.5 and 7 hours a day every day since buying it and am obsessed. 1/3 of my island is covered in boxes of bugs for flick and another 1/3 is dedicated for competitively breeding hybrid flowers. All of my free time is now dedicated to this game and paying off tom nooks debt. 10/10 would recommend

It’s a great game to just casually play, though don’t expect to be able to unlock anything fast. it’s very slow paced game. It’ll take you a week to start getting more neighbors, or any big improvements to your island. One problem is that there’s a 1 island per system. If you’re the only one on your switch it’s perfect for you.

My wife & I throughly enjoy this game. This is the only game we talk about & play together. Playing it on the same Switch... her & I are on the same island. So we are able to help each other out in accomplishing goals & building our town. Must buy! I was skeptical of the game before buying it for my wife. Now I’m hooked!
