In the beginning, you'll be maintaining the island and selling stuff you find for money. As you progress, you'll be able to purchase furniture & clothing, change the island's landscape, manage the villagers etc. No stressful challenges makes it a relaxing experience.

I love Animal Crossing, and this is the best one yet. Crafting is a great mechanic, that combined with the game's in game achievements, this is probably the first AC game that you don't have to stop playing every day if you don't want to. There is always something to do!

Great game, I bought it for my girlfriend and she loves it. So while she’s occupied I can be playing cod with the boys!

Putchased two copies so both kids can play at the same time. Great game that will keep them entertained for hours. Only downside is if you are playing with multiple profiles on one switch, you have to use the same island as the first player that played the game.

Great game for adults and kids simulating life and alternate realities. Super for me and the kids. Love the color stories on packaging, game stylus, and covers. Wish I had reserved the limited edition Nintendo game unit to play it on. Three of us could of played together.

Purchased this for my fiance for Christmas and she has been playing ever since. Bit of a learning curve but she looked up online how to make friends and get the most out of the game.

Typically I do not write reviews but this game is the ultimate disassociation from the actual end of the world. My friends come hang on my island, I’ve been on animal crossing dates, I craft my own stuff!!!! I don’t even believe in the American dollar anymore, only bells.

Honestly I prefer New Leaf but the updated graphics are gorgeous and the new game mechanics are a welcome addition. Crafting and customization of furniture and tools is a huge plus. I think we all needed this new island adventure right now during this rough time in the US.

This was a gift for my daughters birthday. She loves sitting and building up her little town. And because you have to read in order to understand what's happening or what you need to do in this game, this helps her with her reading even if she doesn't think so ha ha.

It's an excellent sequel to the earlier Animal Crossing games. It's a game that's difficult to describe. If I had to compare it to anything else it would have to be The Sims. There's really no way to play it competitively, and that's one of the things that makes it great.

Not gonna lie, my friends called me some not so these days friendly names for saying I purchased this game, but I stand by that I absolutely love it. It's easy to get hooked to once you get started and past the first couple of days. I definitely recommend this game!

Great game to play during Quarantine in the midst a pandemic. I played it for like a week straight. I don’t like tarantulas but making a tarantula Island is worth it because now I own my house, thinking about getting a bigger house, may need more tarantula islands soon.

Game was great value & caught it on sale. Kids love it, 2 player based.. but whoever starts as the lead character makes the decisions and picks the islands. No way to have more than 1 per console (even with multiple users) that’s the only downside I see.

A very peaceful and cute game. Got this for my sister who has been stressed out during COVID. She was ecstatic when I gifted this to her and her mood has definitely changed. She was very happy to show me her island and the funny characters inside the game.

Fantastic game, one of the best video games to exist. I have been gaming for over a decade and this game is super fun. Definitely recommend, it's fun for people of all ages and there is a lot to do so you won't get bored!

I absolutely love this game! This was my first Animal Crossing game and I can't get enough. There are so many different things to explore and do that you will never get bored. It's so relaxing and great for kids. It's such a good family game! You will not be disappointed.

My daughter has been playing ever since I stood in line to pick up her copy of Animal Crossing. Everyday she shows me all the animals, bugs and fish she has collected. Thank you for such a fun game. l think I need to start playing and I'm 60 years old. Wonderful fun!

I already had a game myself and loves it so much that I purchased a second one for my sister to enjoy as well. Now we can play together!

Great new features. Have had the older version for many years and there's just so many bells to earn and fish to catch, etc before it gets stale. SO MANY new options (New Horizons!) with this version. Just learning it but literally hours of fun. A real improvement.

I played the original Animal Crossing game and am just returning to the series with this release. It is very nostalgic and fun to play. I am happy that they added in a bunch of new features that make things go more smoothly. It's very easy to progress in the game as well.
