Was waiting for this come out. Like it so far but unfortunately there is only so much you can achieve in one day. Overall another excellent Nintendo game. I would recommend playing it on Switch Lite - this was at least for me the better option instead of the regular Switch.

First off I have to say this game is quite addictive. I won't even say how many hours I have logged already ( it's triple digits) but I will say there is room for improvement. Nintendo needs to add in some mini-games to enhance the multiplayer/community aspect of the game.

This came out at the best time possible. When I needed an escape from all the troubles in the world without leaving my house it was there for me. If you enjoyed any of the past games in the series this one builds on every wonderful thing that those games brought with them.

I haven’t really played this game myself, because I bought it for my 10 year old daughter. She has a Nintendo Switch and I gave a rating of 4 stars because I see my daughter play this game at least 30 minutes a day since I bought it. And that says a lot because with young children they play with a game a few times then shelf it. It’s an interactive game that gives you options of what you can do and say to different situations that come up on the game. There is a good amount of reading and following instructions in the game to complete different tasks.

ever since i've gotten the game i've played it non-stop, even if you are not an animal crossing fan i would recommend this to anyone! collecting all of the bugs, fossils, and fish for the museum is extremely fun and just building your island from scratch is amazing as well.

Animl Crossing game, if you liked the previous games, then you will like this one. Very soothing and relaxing game play. Wish the couch co op was better suited to owners of 2 switches (or if you could have your profile on multiple switches like you can with PlayStation 4s).

Animal Crossing is such a fun series, and this game is no different! The new customization tools give you more freedom than ever over your town! The art style is beautiful! And the possibilities at endless! It’s pretty much all I’ve wanted to do with my free time this week!

Take a little mind journey with me; You just got off a stressful shift at your job, turn on your Switch, and load up Animal Crossing. After mashing A for what seems to be 2 years to get through the little daily announcement from Isabelle, you go off to do whatever makes this game so popular among sadists. - Go dig for fossils to turn into the worst museum curator on the planet - Catch the same 3 fish over and over - Wake up a clearly suicidal pelican from his drunken stupor, only to have him word-vomit his entire backstory at you. Every. Single. TIME. - Farm, collect, and sell innocent creatures to repay the loan shark that has your oysters so firmly gripped that your children's grandchildren will STILL be paying off your poor decision to move onto an island with the shark and his family. - Eventually give up and pull off continuous time heists to buy and sell veggies to an old lady to pay off your debts before your fingers are taken, only to have the AC purists screech at you because "you aren't playing the game right". - Go overboard on the time skips to the point where you've paid off all your debts, get bored with the game, take a break for a month, only to stumble across a random YT vid one day that showcases all the players that DIDN'T cop out and quit and their AwEsoME islands that are TOTALLY legit and not hizzacked at ALL, gain minor inspiration to copy their islands until, YES YOU GUESSED IT. You get bored yet again. 11/10, would read through every text box in-game again.

In the beginning, you'll be maintaining the island and selling stuff you find for money. As you progress, you'll be able to purchase furniture & clothing, change the island's landscape, manage the villagers etc. No stressful challenges makes it a relaxing experience.

My favorite game franchise! I’m so glad the game came out when it did as I was able to truly enjoy it while having to stay home more. Even if you haven’t played the other Animal Crossing games, this is a great intro to the franchise!

I love Animal Crossing, and this is the best one yet. Crafting is a great mechanic, that combined with the game's in game achievements, this is probably the first AC game that you don't have to stop playing every day if you don't want to. There is always something to do!

This is probably the best games on the switch. There is so much to do. Daily tasks and objectives, holiday specials. Lots of customization. This is one of those game you can spend hours and not get bored. You can use the amiibo cards in this game as well.

Great game for adults and kids simulating life and alternate realities. Super for me and the kids. Love the color stories on packaging, game stylus, and covers. Wish I had reserved the limited edition Nintendo game unit to play it on. Three of us could of played together.

Typically I do not write reviews but this game is the ultimate disassociation from the actual end of the world. My friends come hang on my island, I’ve been on animal crossing dates, I craft my own stuff!!!! I don’t even believe in the American dollar anymore, only bells.

Putchased two copies so both kids can play at the same time. Great game that will keep them entertained for hours. Only downside is if you are playing with multiple profiles on one switch, you have to use the same island as the first player that played the game.

Honestly I prefer New Leaf but the updated graphics are gorgeous and the new game mechanics are a welcome addition. Crafting and customization of furniture and tools is a huge plus. I think we all needed this new island adventure right now during this rough time in the US.

It's an excellent sequel to the earlier Animal Crossing games. It's a game that's difficult to describe. If I had to compare it to anything else it would have to be The Sims. There's really no way to play it competitively, and that's one of the things that makes it great.

This was a gift for my daughters birthday. She loves sitting and building up her little town. And because you have to read in order to understand what's happening or what you need to do in this game, this helps her with her reading even if she doesn't think so ha ha.
