Love everything about this game. It's an awesome family friendly game and a great way to connect with others. Playing together from 3 different states so far. Will always be suckered into owning this brand of game system because of amazing family friendly games like these. Just wished the systems themself didn't break down so tragically and quickly.

Very Popular kids game, just like Minecraft. These games are meant for kids to 'create' their own imaginary world. At a young age, they can use their imagination and have their very own Nirvana and they have control over everything. These games are shaping the creativity of kids. So far, my 10 yr old loves it. Keeps her busy and she is happy.

We loved this game! It's great for some relaxing foraging and exploration, and decorating your space is a lot of fun. Only downside was not getting to have a new island for each player.

Great Family Game but Understand Progression Early

At first, I thought this game was pretty lame as I attempted to play it with my 8 and 6 year old daughters. And then, after shelving it for a few months, I saw a YouTube video on how to advance the game which included converting your tent to a house and expanding it further, building tools, recruiting animals to the island, placing and planting cool stuff, which lead to many new visitors and tasks. So we pulled the game back out and now we love it so much I bought this second copy so the kids can visit each other on their own two unique islands. I have an island resident on both islands and love to spend some relaxing time hanging out and doing lots of fishing for the museum (yep there is a museum that you can donate fossils, fish, bugs, sea creatures and paintings too…and that’s just what I’ve seen so far). Also, time impacts many events and island dwellers so it’s fun to log on often and see what’s available to have fun with. Can’t go wrong with this game if you spend a little time understanding how the progression works.

This game lives up to all of it's expectations! The graphics are beautiful. The music is peaceful. The characters are lovely and interactive in the best way possible!! The multiplayer is my favorite aspect, being able to find an online community of people to play such an amazing game with people all over the world~~ its amazing. 100/10 recommend!

Great game! My island has turned into a little paradise, my villagers are basically my friends now, and I’ve spent hours fishing, decorating, and hunting for fossils. It’s totally relaxing… until I realize I’ve been playing for six hours straight!

    Best Nintedo Swith Game

This is the best Nintendo Switch Game. I bought for daughter but the whole family ended loving this game. There is so much you can do in the island. You can do whatever you feel like. There is some objectives that you need to accomplished if you want to expand the island but you can take your time to finished them. There is a lot of daily life lesson you can teach your kids with this game likw managing their money, learning about different kinds of bugs, fish, plants, dinosaurs, art, fashion, etc. I would definitely recommend this game for families with kids or without kids. My only complaint is that you can only have one island per console and one person is in charge of the island (the first player that set up the game will be able to choose the island and will be in charge of the island) The other users can join the the game in the same island and play in their own account but they cannot choose a new island. Also some of the shops in the island is not available night past 10pm. Kind of a bummer specially if you want to play after your kids go to bed.

If you like real-life simulator games, building things, or just want something relaxing to do, this is the game for you! This game has it all! Would definitely recommend to anyone....and the graphics and details in this game are amazing!!!

New Horizons is an excellent game for those new to the Animal Crossing series, and for those more experienced with playing Animal Crossing. The graphics are pretty, and the gameplay is fun and relaxing. Updates are frequent enough that there is usually something new to do every month on the game, and the game runs well on my Switch.

I love this game. It's quite entertaining. I'm not much of a gamer so I didn't play this growing up but I find it to be such a good time. I like the customization options and the constant desire to discover new fish or bugs and fossils. There's always something to do and for someone who get overwhelmed this is such a peaceful game to play.

It’s awesome. Best part is being able to connect with lots of players. Buy their designs. Some of the designs are so unique they really make the game more fun. Finding things to DIY that are unexpected, like Goth items and tomb stones. We were able to make a spooky graveyard. No end. I made an “ amusement park” So much fun.

This is definitely the best Animal Crossing game yet, and a great, relaxing, heartwarming escape. The social/online component adds a much needed element to the game, and the potential to customize your town in practically endless ways lets you build your town in your own vision in a way that wasn't previously possible. Fun all around.

This game saved my life during covid lockdown, I enjoyed playing it so much. I don't have as much time to play with it anymore but I still like to hop on from time to time because it's so simple and an easy way to relax after a long day

Surprisingly a lot of fun!! So much to do. Might seem a little slow 1st day.. but picks up when you start upgrading your house, visiting others online, designing your own clothes.. lots of stuff!! Definitely takes your mind away for a bit with an easy distraction like picking weeds or selling fruit. Lots of fun!!

We bought this as a gift for our daughter during this pandemic, she really was looking forward to having this and it did not disappoint! She now spends most of her screen time playing this and is able to play online with her school friends she has not seen in a while. Pretty neat game and the game play and graphics are awesome.

This is my sons game. He loves it. It follows your real time. So the clock on the game is your actual time. When it’s dark in real life, it’s dark on the game. It’s a game that you slowly gather tools and skills to allow you to do more and more as you go. You don’t have to eat or drink for your character to stay alive, but you do fish a lot.... you then sell your fish for money. In addition to money you can make “Miles” in the game. You can use the Miles to fly to other islands. There you take whatever you can hold in your storage, then fly back to your island and sell your things to the little shop on your island. You can also buy things with your Miles. Miles are harder to get. You also are charged for your house and have to pay back loans. This is actually a good learning experience for all kids playing this game. They also use some big words during the game...as it seems on purpose to teach kids words...(knowing that the parent will help them read the screen). Overall, this is a good game and I would recommend it to all. This game was sold out in all the stores and we had to order it to be mailed to us. Hope this helps you decide.

It’s a great little game that my kids won’t atop playing. The only knock is that when playing together on a single Switch players 2-4 are very limited in what they can do which is a bit of a disappointment. You also have one island that everyone on the Switch shares even if you log in solo. On one hand it’s nice to help them progress the island since mine are younger and likely wouldn’t be able to on their own. On the other hand, kids are kids so they can make changes to the island you may not want. Lastly the Nintendo online experience is a bit rough as your play is interrupted every time someone joins or leaves and island. Those complaints aside it’s a super fun game!

I've played everyday for the last 100 days - no joke. I love it...it's so fun, and its great for any and all age groups! My favorite part about this game is that its real-time, meaning however much time passes in the real world is the same as what goes by in your Animal Crossing world. The weather matches your local forecast, the seasons change and with the seasons comes new fish and bugs to catch. Its almost impossible to get bored with the growing turnip stock market and real estate debts you accrue throughout your experience in the game. The online play is great because you can play with your friends and visit their island all while maintaining social-distancing guidelines! the only unfortunate part of the animal Crossing experience is that there is only enough room on a single Switch for one island, so if you are considering purchasing for multiple children to play, you will also have to own multiple Switches and Animal Crossing games (though, I should add that you are able to have multiple characters to play on one island, but each account will have to take turns playing the Switch). Overall, best game I've played in years!

Purchased this game to see why it was so popular. It is a very simple game that people of all ages can play. My little ones enjoy designing their own island, fishing, and farming. We’ve also been learning about insects, bugs, fish, animals, and dinosaurs (fossils). I would recommend this game, even though I feel it’s a bit pricey.
