I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and easy game to get into. There is enough depth to keep island creators interested, but the mechanics are easy enough for almost anyone to play. You can basically be as creative and free as you want.

I was a bit skeptical at first about all the hype. But after playing myself, I complete understand it. The graphics are great! As someone who loved playing Harvest Moon in the past, this game left Harvest Moon I’m the dust! I highly recommend it!

Great game to play while quarantined. Fun to play with friends from far away. It sucks you into its web and never lets go. If you need something to dive into while stuck at home, look no further. The best way I can describe this game is "it's the electronic equivalent of knitting a sweater." You find yourself grinding to complete something that you're not even sure of and at the end, you have something you can be proud of (even if no one else thinks so). You can learn a lot about yourself (and others you choose to play ACNH with) as your type of play will reveal what you value in real life. I know this sounds crazy but it's true. Over time, you realize more about yourself and you may even find yourself appreciating the small things back in real life. Give it a shot, let yourself settle in. Find someone (or a community) to play with.

Love this game, relaxing, go at your own pace type game, very slice of life. Not suitable for those whom are impatient unless you want to work on that. You live on an island and talk/help your animal neighbors. You decorate everything (island and house however you want(including your little avatar person in the game) it’s basically about taking care of something all your own, there’s in game tasks every day if you care to do them but other than that there’s no objective, the in game weather/holidays reflect real life, there is a multiplayer aspect if you want to invite other people whom also have a switch/switch lite and the game to come to each other’s island and hang out/take pictures/trade items. That’s pretty much it. Been playing every new form of this game since the very first one on game cube, I think it’s a lovely sweet game for any age.

Animal Crossing is my first experience with an Animal Crossing game the game is very simple but that does not mean it is bare in content. The game starts off slow but it's a great way to keep you engaged in that every little thing you do is rewarding. Picking weeds on your first day to make your island clean can get you gold and "nook miles" ingame bonus currency. there is a nice simple crafting system that once you get far enough will let you build your own furniture. The game offers a great deal of customization if that is what you enjoy or if you just want to go and fish and catch bugs for money you can always do that. There are few things that can be annoying - such as the slow text and having to individually craft the same item 10 times rather than a bulk craft but these are minor frustration that I wouldn't let ruin the overall experience.

My daughters love playing this game. They like that they can play together. They get to customize their character and houses. They get to do cool things like fish, collect bugs, and build things using resources from the island which they are living.

Our 7 year old is hooked on this game. He spends a lot of time farming items to sell for money then telling us how rich he is. Game has an appeal for a wide age range. No violence or bad language so good for the younger crowd.

Got this for my daughter before the lockdown. It’s been a life saver. She has so much fun playing it and exploring her island. Many opportunities for creativity and learning to wait as sometimes things you buy aren’t available until the next day.

This game is a gem, and has been released at precisely the time when it was needed most. Nintendo's newest release in the franchise, fans have been very excited. When the game was released in March, stores had to cancel release parties because of COVID-19. The game delivered on the hype, mostly by staying true to the original format. You begin the game arriving on an island with a few others. Nook, a business savvy raccoon, soon reveals that your flight, meals, tent and land will require payment! But not to worry, instead of paying in cold hard Bells (the game's currency), you can pay with Nook Miles - his own personal reward-point system. This sets the stage for an economic relationship between you and his family that allows you to grow your home from a tent to a three-story mansion. The game is worth every bell, err, penny!

This game has been very relaxing for me. I enjoy the game play, graphics, and interaction with others. While being at home all day this has kept me occupied and content. It's a little bit different than it's pervious versions but still a fun game.

This game is addicting! It is so much fun building your own town and making bridges and decorating your house. Visiting other islands in search of new things or towns people is the best! There are SO MANY things you can do in this game.

I’ve never played an Animal Crossing game before. This was a completely unexpected surprise. It has given our family hours of entertainment and seems to continuously evolve. I don’t see the novelty wearing off anytime soon. Love it!!!!

This game was released at the exact right time and truly helped us cope during the first few months of stay-at-home orders. There are a lot of fun features in this game like the many iterations before it, but this one made a little magic. First, it's the first game my mom really wanted to spend time playing and my parents were actually able to play together. Second, it allowed my young children a fun way to interact with my family while they were unable to physically visit us. While talking over the phone they would play hide-and-seek, go fishing, play dress up, and all other kinds of activities with my parents and siblings who have all also purchased the game. Third, it gave me, a tired SAHM whose husband was lucky enough to gain more work through all of this, something that I could control in just the way I wanted it. I spent many hours decorating my island and deciding which yard fit which villager. While hunting for supplies and doing daily tasks my kids could play with me (they liked to chop trees and catch bugs). We even made ourselves a little village where all of our houses sit together and the kids made a character and house for my husband as well. It's been fun working together to upgrade everyone's homes and collect items and outfits. We're really thankful for this game and though we don't play it quite as much as we did a couple months ago, it's still our go to for a lazy relaxing afternoon.

Got this for my daughter and she loves it! She said it was a lot like the original, but that they had streamlined it and made it easier to do the things that she liked. She bought a Nintendo Switch just to play this game.

If you like animal crossing, you'll probably love this as well. Nice graphics, more ability to change your whole town inside and out. Seems so far to keep all of the things I have enjoyed in past AC games, adding new activities like DIY crafting.

I initially bought this for my daughter but it soon took over my gaming time as well. It’s such a relaxing play at your own pace kind of game and the ability to customize so much of the world is super fun. I cannot recommend this game enough.
