I am a pretty avid gamer, but my fiance is not so much. She is a HUGE fan of Animal Crossing and this has been the only game we play nowadays. This game has really allowed us to chill out like we are right on the island! We also enjoy being on the same island and working on it together.

I bought a copy for my niece, and got addicted on her island, so I had to buy a copy for myself. It's such a chill and fun game, even for players who haven't played the previous Animal Crossing series. I recommend it to every one! I wish it was possible to have two islands on a console.

My daughter stays busy playing this game and thoroughly enjoys fishing and growing plants. The clock follows real time therefore the sun sets outside ,same happens in the game. Just watch out for the wasps in the trees...lol. Overall a very fun game providing hours entertainment!!

this is the Switch's (probably only) entry with the Animal Crossing series. it is a simulation that pushes the user to play daily until an "end" is reached. it is basically a grind from day one. some may feel this is not the game for them and it is fine. others may love it because of the serenity. no matter what, this entry is worth owning but many will drop out within 2 months. the main issue is the grind needed to get bells (money) to pay off this and obtain that. past AC games have this mechanic but to me, were more fun. this time around, it felt like a chore.

This is such an adorable and fun game! It was sold out everywhere so I was excited when BestBuy got some in! I placed my order and I was in my hands just a couple days later, talk about fast shipping! So glad I was able to get this game, I highly recommend it to everyone of all ages!

Amazing game with unlimited possibilities for play. New updates are coming out all the time. If you pair this with Nintendo Switch Online, you can visit your friends' islands or have them come to yours. A great way to stay connected while everyone is social distancing.

Huge fan of the previous animal crossing games with the exception of home designer. This game has everything and just looks beautiful. Fish look so real. The only thing I didn’t like were the temporary tools and having to rebuild or buy another one but ive come around to understand it.

I have never own or played an animal crossing game but I heard good things about this game and I’m glad I pick this game up. It can get repetitive after a while but the amount of things you can collects and customized are endless. Overall a good fun game in short periods of time.

So I was supposed to receive this during release day, but it never got delivered to my address. Reached out to Best Buy and they immediately shipped out a replacement copy. They were quick to respond and accommodated for the carrier's mistake. Their help line's call back feature was super convenient as well. Instead of being put on hold for forever. They'll call you back when you're next in line. The game itself is great! If you're a fan of the previous Animal Crossing series then this will feel much more polished! Great getaway for the challenging times we're currently in

My daughter has been anxiously awaiting the release of Animal Crossing for Switch for a long time. She played multiple versions on her DS previously, and the new version was no disappointment. These games in general seem somewhat overpriced to me, but that seems to be standard.

This game is very fun! I used to play this game on the game cube and loved it. This is a much more advanced game, which I enjoy. I like having goals to meet every day. I am also excited to be able to customize my island. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

Addictive fun! Hard to put away. Great learning potential from Blathers the museum curator. Cute villager characters. Design fun to last all year long. Special event times too. Remember to stretch with the residents. Have a blast.

This game is perfect for wanting to be outside while staying inside. Because of the Corona virus we had to wait in our car while Best buy called us and did a transaction over the phone then we would drive up and get our item. Social distancing at its finest! Great game and great team!

The villagers’ personalities are really toned down, compared to past entries, but I’ve enjoyed my time with the game. The collecting and customization allowed for many hours of gameplay. I’ll just wait and see if there are any more major updates.

Got this months ago, forgot to write a review. Best for one player, do not buy for multiple children; I do not recommend as it limits the other player in this generated island. If they like building or surviving in an island getaway, this game will be for them! Patience.

This game is so addicting. This is my first animal crossing game and probably won’t be the last. Who doesn’t enjoy picking up weeds and selling them for bells? I don’t share my switch so I don’t have the island problem. If you want to kill time, you definitely need to buy this game!

I absolutely love this game! I have been playing Animal Crossing since New Leaf and I am in love with this game. It is so engaging, cute, and has something new to do every day plus daily duties. SO worth the $60 honestly! I play a few hours a day and end up happy after every session.

Great for the kids and very expansive gameplay with a lot of room for creativity. Definitely has a mellow and upbeat feel to it with the 'island life' and 'mayor/builder/collector' culture it fosters. Fun and relaxing game I'd recommend to anyone, one of the best of 2020 so far.
