Totally addicting! This has been fun to enjoy with my daughter. We each have our own island and rejoice in each other's progress.

At first I was very skeptical of wanting to play this game. I was unsure if I would like it or not. I ended up loving this game because there's so many different things to do, such as designing the island how you want it to look like, getting certain villagers on your island, and if your into stocks they have their own version of that by buying turnips (stalks). There are also a lot of silly puns that are said throughout the game to keep you entertained. I would definitely recommend this game if you like to collect different items and is creative.

I was really excited to buy this game when it came out, so excited that I finally decided to buy a switch just so I could play it. I have put over 150 hours into this game over the last few months and there is still more awesome stuff to do! I have ASD and Animal Crossing has always been one of my special interests, but New Horizons takes the cake. It’s one of the most fun, stress free games you can play. It saved me when we were under quarantine and I had to have surgery and couldn’t leave my house. I would recommend this game to everyone.

Second time buying the game, while they aren’t adding anymore new content as of this review the game is still enjoyable to boot up and play. They’ve release a plethora of DLCs for it over the first couple of years, and with the uniqueness of the game and how you can personalize every little detail it’s hard not to become invested.

I don't even know where to begin with this game. I played the original and almost all of them along the way but this just blows them all out of the water. This game is so customizable and fun without demanding anything from you that you can't help but want to put more and more time in. The mrs. never plays video games and thought it was a joke that a bunch of 30 something guys were trading fruit and visiting each other until I made her try it out... now we fight for screen time. If you like any of the earlier titles or anything in this genre, get this.

My 13 year old daughter begged for this game daily and now that she has it...plays daily. In this game..she chooses her character and runs around shaking trees talking to villagers and knocking on doors. Her favorite thing is that she can collect things to sell and can also purchase things. She showed me her house and said she needed a lot more money to upgrade. She also showed me her museum which she said needed more work...more collectibles. I would recommend as a game for younger kids...not so sure how long game would hold older kids attention.

I grew up with Animal Crossing on GameCube. This version is that good and better!! There are a lot of added elements like crafting, and there always seems to be something to do! Fun for all ages, honestly everyone would love this game! My husband is 30, I am a mom who is 30, our son 8, and our daughter 6 ALL play this game - we own 3 copies and bought 2 Switch Lites because of this game. Worth the money!! Its hours and hours of entertainment, you wont be disappointed! And once you get sucked in, git up the meme groups on Facebook for endless laughs!

Simple fun game. You can show your creative side. With designing your own home and the layout of your island. If you're into that, I recommend it.

Fun game! Time moves in real time so it is a slower progressing game but gives you enough things to do to keep you busy.

This game is great if you're looking for something to take your mind off the world and to create something on your own terms and at your own pace.

I have actively avoided Animal Crossing games since their inception due to the addictive and repetitive farming nature of the games. I finally gave in and picked this up so I could play with my son who also loves the game. It does feel repetitious and I know many people who "have to play daily" but my son and I just pick it up occasionally and build our island together. It's a great game if you like to get sucked in to a game world or if you want something fun for a young child to play.

When your stuck inside why not escape into the beautiful world not crafted by nintendo but your own hands in this top down animal filled town sim!

There is plenty to do in this game, and it is well worth the buy. However, there are a couple things to note. If you want to play this game with multiple accounts on the same Switch system, then they will all share the same island. This was inconvenient for my girlfriend because I wanted her to try it out but she couldn't even get started because earlier that day I picked all the fruit, chopped all the wood, and mined all the rocks. So if either of us wants to make a successful day for ourselves, we have to stunt our own progress, The game should let you play on a new island as a new user. She would have to get a switch for herself to play this on. The shops operate at certain times of the day, and some animals do too. This means that if you are a night-shift kind of person, you'll have to change your system time which is inconvenient, and doesn't allow you to participate in seasonal events at the moment. It's already kind of annoying for me because I play around 9p, and the shop closes at 10p when I've collected everything I want to sell. Otherwise, if you're a day-player and are playing alone, you should be fine! It really is a great game.

A fun game honestly not much else to say I’m glad I bought tho it’s definitely my most played game on my switch

I've been playing this game since it first released. And more especially, everyone was suffering from pandemic last year and this game became one of the most good game companies. but I have to say that Animal Crossing: New Horizons may not be for everyone, but those who enjoy games like this will find a lot to love. Even if you don't normally go for life simulators, New Horizons may still be worth a look, because Animal Crossing has a certain style that's near impossible to find anywhere else.

The game is perfect for my 7-year-old daughter. She loves the graphics and gameplay. A great starter game.

Great game that brings back memories of playing the first game back on the Gamecube. So many ways to customize your character, house, and island.

I started playing this game recently and really enjoy it! There's a LOT to do and you don't necessarily have a set mission, which I like.

This game is very fun and challenging. It's very addicting. I love that you can customize your house and island. The animals are cute and sweet.
