My 9 yr old daughter loves this game! Says it’s so much fun and loves that she can “visit” her friends and family with the game. If you are looking at this game for a little one, keep in mind there is a good amount of reading that has to be done to play so not recommended for younger ones that can’t yet.

I actually bought a second copy of this game on September 11. I've had it sine April though. My fiance and I love playing it together. The multiplayer on one system is a bit rough but overall the game is absolutely fantastic! The entire concept is an A plus and it's a very relaxing game to play.

Where do I start? Turnips? Bridges? Chill? Yup it has the things you would expect an animal crossing to have. This is the best release for this series ever. Highly recommended. It’s one flaw? One island per nintendo switch. So if you’re a one switch household, prepare to share your island with your family.

This game is really fun. I'm a long time fan of the Animal Crossing(AC) series. And I've been having a lot of fun with New Horizons. Customizing my island and making friends with my villagers has been pretty fun. I do have a few gripes with it like certain tools and adding updates to the game. Like swimming, Swimming was already in the base of the previous game new leaf. But here you have to wait for it in a summer update, same for the dream station. And there are still some big things missing like brewsters. But overall I've had a very fun time and it's a relaxing game to play for the stressful day.

My kids loves this games i brought this game for my sister and two of my kids and they all play together and they say it keeps them away from the stress that they have in school or work

Easily my favorite game on the switch! Animal Crossing is one of the most relaxing, easy-going games I’ve played. It’s so fun to just build your island and watch it grow into something beautiful, and I love how many customization options there are for the characters and the in-game items.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is beautiful, charming, and packed with reasons to keep coming back. You'll spend hundreds of hours collecting fish, bugs, and bells (to purchase items), visiting with your neighbors, and perfecting your slice of paradise. It is a mindless yet rewarding escape.

This is the best game in the entire world. I am 22 years old and I’ve been playing animal crossing since it was on the game cube. I literally begged my dad for a switch just so I could play this game. I’m so obsessed. I love it so much. Best $60 I’ve ever spent. For sure. Get it. You’ll be addicted

This game is a wonderful continuation in the series. The graphical updates are stunning. The game has enough of the tedious/ mundane tasks that keep the game going. The randomization of fish/ insects/ and other tasks like popping a balloon, chopping wood, designing your home makes this game a joy and wonder.

Although it starts out a little slow, you’ll be back into the animal crossing routine by the second hour of playing. It’s a great game to play for a little bit at a time, perfect for casual gamers. But it also has expansive options for extended play, including visiting other islands, grinding for bells, etc.

I've played most of the other Animal Crossing games and this one is by far the best! There are a lot more activities and goals in this game and it helps pace the game so you don't get bored of it easily. The activities are simple and easy enough to do in a day or two but are all a part of the bigger picture!

With the COVID-19, I decided to play animal crossing for first time. Oh boy, you will be stuck in the dream land with lots of thing to do and collect. If you own Switch (it is really hard to get now) and like Minecraft games, You definitely should play this!. I am hook and can't think of it everyday!

There is nothing better than animal crossing, especially during these crazy times. One funny thing is that the game supports something that the Switch OS does not - messaging! You can send real time messages to friends who are also playing the game. Plus this game has received numerous updates and support.

Both my six year old son and I love playing this game. It’s perfect for any age, very entertaining, and perfect for unwinding or killing time. I highly recommend this game.

My girlfriend is hooked! Her friends started playing this and recommended it to her. I bought her a copy so she can try it out. She has been hooked on this game since the day she started playing. She seems to be well entertained and enjoying it, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Great low stakes and peaceful game. Besides the obvious annoying fact that you only get one island its fun and great for the family. Some minor things that would make the game better: ability to go into the water on the island (swimming, wading in the water, threading). I feel like it would be more realistic if you could go into the water. Also, the ability to jump on command would be nice. The view of avatar seems a bit limited especially when your view is blocked by a tree. None of these things would keep me from buying the game. Probably my favorite game on the switch and worth every penny.

got it for a small gift for daughter and wife. they both love the game . so i bought another one they each have their own game.

Was looking for New Horizons for my nephew to spend the time while locked up at home with COVID. Everywhere was sold out or overpriced but Best Buy thankfully had one in stock for purchase. My nephew is now having so much fun, and it's a struggle to actually get my nephew to take a break from the game.

Bought this for my wife, who is not a gamer. She is hooked! Love that she can go to other family members islands and play together. She love it!!!
