I've been playing animal crossing games since the GameCube days. If you enjoyed any of them you'll enjoy this one. Personally, I like the 3ds game more than this one because you have to craft a lot of things and your tools are constantly breaking which is tedious and something I greatly dislike. Also, while animal crossing isn't a fast paced game, the game moves pretty slowly initially so you'll have to be extra patient with this entry in the series

Decent game! Lots of things to do and be done (kids did get bored a bit of it for the following reasons). Was a bit tiring trying to have 2 kids play together as they have to "take turns". Yes, they can learn (to share etc life lessons etc) to be the "leader" and "follower" but then it kinda got tiring having to constantly wanting to have their turn. Obviously, i am speaking from ONE switch system for the family situation.

fun for the whole family, only downside is 1 island per console...which i guess is how it has always been. Also, would be nice to have couch co-op be splitscreen instead of always having to bee in the same picture.

I have to wait until my wife goes to sleep at night in order to get some game time in, if that tells you anything about how much we like Animal Crossing. Looking to get a second copy soon for my Switch!

This game is just wonderful. It’s cute, engaging, and there is so much to accomplish and do. I played other animal crossing games in the past, and thought they were okay, but I LOVE New Horizons.

This game is amazing especially when you have niece and nephew. Who will not let you play XD

Our 6-year-old loves this game and my wife enjoyed it so much helping her that she has a copy of her own now and they play together.

My daughter and her friends love it so much that when her friend got his Nintendo Switch, she got him Animal Crossing. The play together all the time (when he is not with his GF lol).

Ever since I got this game, I just can't stop playing it! It's so fun building your own house and island. I've never played games like this, but a friend suggested it to me, so I tried it and I'm honestly in love!

Bought the themed switch to match for her last year, now finally got the game for $10 cheaper than retail. So much work to do. I know my daughter will have fun with this.

This game is very slow and comfy, it's amazing for anyone who just wants to pass a little bit of time here and there and watch some cute animals live their cute lives while you make your island as fun as possible!

Kids fight over using it all the time so it is always being played by someone. Teaches kids how to look for things, be patient, and use in game money. Nintendo is always the most enjoyable system.

A lot of fun. Even the non gamer in the family is playing. Just make sure to have someone who will actively play be the first one to play as they will control the pace of development/upgrades to the island.

Great game for video game fans who want a little escape from their lives. Managing a small island village has never been more enjoyable or creative. Fans of older Animal Crossing games simply must pick this one up.

Game is only slightly addictive for my kids but is also so wholesome. I like that you have to come back tomorrow to have things progress. The characters are so cute. Really well done.

This is a really fun game! It's good for people that have played previous Animal Crossing games and also those that have never played it before.

Bought this game for my daughter. It came with the bell bag. This is her favorite game! She plays it daily. She has thanked us probably a hundred times for it. I personally do not follow the game. She loves ot!

I’m never bored with this since there’s always a mission and every day, your village or town has something new in it such as fossils or weeds to pull out or new characters who are either visiting or want to move in

This was a birthday gift for my 8 year old. She hasn’t put it down since her birthday. She was so excited to play Animal Crossing and is now trying to play with her friends. Great starter game for the Switch!

I love this game especially all the little villagers and, tasks you have to do. It will definitely keep you occupied especially with what's going right now. It's a virtual vacation. 10/10 I definitely recommend.
