This is my first ever Animal Crossing and I'm blown away by how fun this game is. There's so much to do. Definitely will help pass the time during these hard times of staying indoors!

In no way did I think I was going to get into this game. Friends had asked of I was going get it. Said it looked stupid. So flash forward to heading to Texas for 4th of July weekend. We go to the Bestbuy in College Station and my mom buys me this as a birthday present. She had heard her friends children liked it. I had to be nice and pop it in and play it. Within 15 minutes I was lost in this world. When no working or doing other adult things I find myself trying to catch that darn marlin. So take it from me. Someone who thought there was no way I was going dig this game. To waiting until 9pm to catch a scorpion. You will enjoy it.

Kids excitedly keep going back to it. They love it. Would be 5 stars however the one prob is the fact that only one world can be created by one main player/account. Others can only visit and do minimal things. You have to get a whole other switch console to create another account, not even another game. ! But they do love playing and silver lining is they are creating it together. That's nice!

It is fun and there is always something to do. Take your time and enjoy it and watch as your little island can turn into a busting lovely community. Also great to play with friends

ACNH isn't the type of game you power through, as you have to play through each day in real time. You can spend most of the time progressing through the game just waiting for things to happen, but at the very least, it makes justifying putting the game down much easier. For this, I'm really happy. However, on the other side of the same coin, it's easy to fall in the trap of feeling like you need to play every day, so if you have an addictive or obsessive personality like myself, or you're a completionist, you're going to feel like missing a day is wasted time. All in all, I love it for being a cute and relaxing game, even with it's faults.

My 16 year old daughter wanted a Nintendo Switch - Lite so she could play this game. Of course it is a matter of luck being able to find the Switch -Lite or the game, but I got lucky and found it here on bestbuy.com. Once I ordered both the Switch - Lite and the Animal Crossing game, it was delivered in a few days. That is faster than if I chose to pick it up at the store. Daughter says the game is fun, and seems to be a very popular game. She used to play it on our Wii, and I think she had it on her DS also. I have seen her play it a few times, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. It looks cute, and the game has a cult-like following.

When creating another title in a well-received series it is important to add new elements but not allow these additions to be more bombastic than what the player has learnt to love about the series already. New Horizons, as expected, does this well. Like a typical Animal Crossing game you focus on collecting items for a museum, creating the perfect outfits for your Villager and decorating your house. The player is given nearly full reign to customize their island how they please and being rewards with new tools and features to add to their island as they continue to play the game. This game is perfect to pick up for twenty minutes of so before you start playing another game your deep into-- or maybe afterwards to relax for a bit. I do wish it had something extra though. The original Animal Crossing for the Gamecube allowed you to collect some original Nintendo titles that you could put in your house and play. I understand this may be redundant for those who have an online account with the Nintendo but having some sort of mini-game could give you something to do when you aren't waiting for the next day to come to respawn fossils. A great game that every Switch owner should have as it is very accessible, but make sure you have another game to play while you are waiting for your flowers to bloom and trees to bear fruit.

Super fun game, it is customizable and great fun for hours.

We have really enjoyed the thoughtfulness and creativity of this game. It is packed with things to do. You'll want to keep coming back to make improvements to the village.

I've never played this series but happened to preorder it before Pandemic 2020 hit. This really helped during lockdown. When you need something to relax to and want an island of worshipers then you have found your game. Also, if you like playing the stock market then you'll love Turnips. Just know there are so many little things that need fixed, and probably never will, but the addictiveness of it will help you make excuses for it so that somehow you play through it. That said, once you withdrawal from it you can see clearly and realize the game was just a time killer...but that's what I needed over the Spring of Covid-19. Enjoy!

Bought this game for my sisters. They've been wanting to play it for a while and they love it. They seem to like it and its a good way to pass the time for them. Love to see it

As my first Animal Crossing experience this is a wonderful game, and a great way to escape into a fun and engaging world. My entire family genuinely enjoys developing their island.

So far, so good. ACNH keeps me entertained with lots to do, from customizing your house to visiting your friend’s island and especially building your dream island. 10/10 recommend!

Animal crossing for nintendo switch was a bday gift for my granddaughter. This is her favorite game and absolutely loves it. I personally think these game are expensive.

So much fun, lots of upkeep though so make sure you have time to check in each day!

The last one of these I played was the original animal crossing. They've added several features to make the game much more interesting and extend how long you can play without it feeling repetitive, but it still feels like the great game it was/is. Appropriate for anyone any age. To anyone who is not familiar, this game uses real time in the game for daylight/night time/store hours/etc., so there is some waiting you have to do at times unless you want to mess with your system date/time and it's not a game you necessarily "win". But you have a vision of your perfect island, I highly encourage you to get this game and make it a reality.

This is the peak of cozy gaming. When i wanna relax and play something this is the go to game of choice. The music and everything about this game os so soothing.

How do I put it into words? This game is amazing. For fans of Animal Crossing, you'll love this. For newcomers, if you like taking nothing and building it into something, you might like this. You start from scratch in this game, with nothing but a tent, a resident services, 2 villagers, and an empty island. It takes your efforts to make something out of this island, and the more work you put in, the more you get out. Getting that bridge feels amazing because you know how much hard work went into it. Your beautiful lawn is all the more beautiful because you made it yourself. Excellent game, can't recommend enough. The perfect zen experience.

My 10 year old had saved up for this game and when he had enough we took him to buy it. We stopped at 3 different gaming shops but couldn't find animal crossing at any of them. We then decided to look at best buy (which we should have gone to first). They had the game and even though they were only doing curb side pick up, the best buy employee said if we put the order in he would be able to bring it right out. We bought the game online and he brought it out within minutes. It's a great game where my son can build on his own island and add his friends to play/visit each others islands. Also the service we received was exceptional.

So let me start off by saying that I never really buy anything game related or from Best Buy at all in general. When this game started taking over the internet, it was impossible to find (only digital was available everywhere) I needed the physical copy because when I get a lite I want to be able to play with that and take it with me. Sadly the coral isn’t available but that’s okay because I can wait. Now Originally it was going to take two weeks to ship to my house but, is took less then a week! The checkout process was fast and easy and getting to my house sooner than later really made my day! Will FORVER now be buying things from Best Buy
