Bought this game for myself buy my fiance won't put it down it's her game at this point, the game is extremely addicting especially once you power through the first few hours of sluggish nonsense trust me people just bear with it and the reward will be well worth the slow start of this game I would recommend that every Switch owner have this game just like I do for Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, the Zelda games, and Mario Odyssey this is just one of those you must have if you love your Switch.

Animal Crossing is the ultimate imitation of historic and often times malicious real-world systems in cute packaging. This game teaches real-life concepts such as debt, consumer consumption, commoditization of trading. Despite all these deeper ideas that the game takes part in. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a delightful game for all ages. Where you spend time and money; crafting, terraforming, and decorating in a calm, and gentle gameplay. A lot of good, casual fun would definitely recommend.

This game is great. Allows for total creativity. Kind of like a more modern version of Minecraft. Very fun and addictive.

Theres so much todo in the game at a good pace. Its not overbearing and creativly fun.

This game is a fun, entertaining, and cute way to play solo or with family both locally or on-line (especially during this difficult time). Nintendo created many ways to play at your own pace so you can engage in activities to build up your community through crafting, shopping, gifting, participating in events, and just chilling with friends. I love the versatility of the Switch, from compact play on the console as a handheld to being connected to the TV. Overall, highly recommended!

Great game. Nice graphics, smooth gameplay. Looks great on the tv when you have it on the docking station.

This is a relaxing and enjoyable game. It's open ended and you can enjoy it at your own pace. There are a few events that are locked to the first player (picking and naming the island, for example, other members of your family will have to play on the same island that the first player selected), so keep that in mind if that will matter to anyone in your family. I have an 8 year old and a 9 year old, along with me and the hardcore gamer husband, and all 4 of us are having a great time on our island.

Great escape into a fantastic world full of cute chraters and tons of clothes and items to customize your own private island

I’m new to the animal crossing game’s, so when my friend told me to preorder. I was just going with the flow. I already knew a bit about the game style, and also read posts about its features. After playing it for a while, and mostly during this complicated time. I had fallen in love with it!! A great game to pass time! There’s many post in social media that shows the Player’s creativity. I’m not very creative, but watching them makes me want to work harder to create a beautiful island as well.

I play this game still to this day and it's almost been a year since it's come out! Playing it with my friends and siblings has been a blast and great way to connect when meeting in person has been difficult. Plus there is so much to do and room for different looks on your island, home or your character! The updates have been fantastic and it's honestly been one of my favorite things of 2020! Definitely a great game for both hardcore and casual gamers.

I love it! After I slowly drifted away from New Leaf I wondered when the next game would be and now this is out and I’m glad.

From her: Easy to understand for the casual gamer. Enjoys customizing and crafting - especially changing outfits. Loot system may seem too generous at times, but it is a welcome feature. From me: Great loot system. Nothing ever feels hard to come by. Loot is generous and not much is required to craft. In-game currency is plenty if you did not want to wait and collect to craft. Does not feel like there is much of a “grind” to collect items and craft things you want, which is good in this case.

Nice relaxing game to play. Very easy to learn and a lot of improvements to enhance your play experience from the last game.

Nintendo has released another great Animal Crossing game! All the classic staples are here - Catching and collecting bugs and fish, living in a town with your animal residents, and having an overall great, relaxing real-time experience. There’ve been new changes as well, like automatic stacking of materials, the crafting system from the mobile game, and the ability to create your town from scratch. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, it’s a great experience that I think you’ll enjoy!

Absolutely love it someday as if you play too much it gets a little repetitive but I really like it
