Its a great game for all ages too. Minus one star because you have to own multiple systems if you want to have different islands.

This is a game that you can really get engrossed in. You get to design and build your island. Your friends can come visit. Very interesting economic gameplay.

I'm a huge fan of Animal Crossing and have played previous games on other consoles, such as Wild World and New Leaf. Something about this one just does not have the same charm as the other games. I still enjoy playing this but I often feel myself yearning to return to the older titles due to its simplicity. There are just too many new additions to this version and a lot of things feel a bit reductive. Not the best in the series but still fun for any fan of AC.
