I bought this for my wife and she's absolutely loving this game. She keeps saying it's one of the cutest and most relaxing games she's every played. She'll play it docked or bring it to bed with her and play for a little while before going to bed. There's a whole lot of building, gathering and island designing to keep you entertained for hundreds of hours.

This is a wonderful game and easily my favorite animal crossing. Animal crossing can many times be somewhat sparse with content, but ACNH is filled to the brim with things to do throughout the day. The landscaping options are quite vast and while a little overwhelming they give you a ton of freedom to decorate your island.

After playing this game since release, I can say I love it and really enjoy the freedom it gives me to customize basically my entire island to my liking. This is something I’ve never been able to do in AC, and as a longtime fan it has been great to run around my island knowing that almost everything was done by me. However, I feel that some of the old stuff was snubbed. A lot of classic characters and features such as the cafe and gyroids have not reappeared. Also you can only upgrade Nook’s Cranny once instead of 3 times like before. Overall, the game is great especially if you are new to the series but for us old timers it lacks that feel and charm that the old titles had due to missing features.

My daughter has waited years for this to come out. As it happens it came out just as the stay at home order hit our state. She has been able to spend several hours setting up her town and she loves the features of the new game. My daughter is also able to socialize with friends and family in the game. This was money well spent and I would highly recommend.

I purchased this for my six year old, and I think it’s a great concept. It’s about helping one another and making it work with what you have. Also, the characters use their own language which gets translated for the player in bubble form, making the player read the dialect - so it’s also helping my son to read :) So far, so good!

What can I add to what's already been said? It's a perfect game for these times, and it's fun even to step aside and let me kids run the island while I catch bugs, dig up fossils, and study artwork for the museum. I don't mind that the first person on the island (my son) gets to do most of the island planning, but it might be an issue for some players.

I didn’t like the version on the GameCube so I was hesitant to play the switch version. But after hearing great reviews I decided to pay for the game and hope for the best. I’m glad I did because it’s a great game but you can run out of things to do after the main story. Wish the story was longer. But all in all i loved playing it.

The game I've played the most on the switch and have played AC since the gamecube days. Lots of things to do and collect in the game. You can visit friends' islands and they can visit yours and y'all can play together. I enjoy diving in the game the most.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is a fun and relaxed game as its predecessors before. This game has become a daily stop during a hard time of lockdown and home isolation. It has given me another fun way to connect to friends and things to do during the day when I find myself looking for something. I wouldn't want to spend my self isolation any other way.

This game is excellent. If you like cute villagers, colelcting outfits, decorating your island and fishing or catching bugs, this is for you. I like how it is self paced - I like to take it slow, I usually just feel relaxed doing my daily tasks, but there’s others who take it at a faster pace which is also an option. It’s basically whatever you make it.

I had never played an Animal Crossing game prior to this as I generally prefer action games, but I am really enjoying it so far. I was worried that the gameplay would get repetitive, as all you pretty much do is collect items and organize your island, but that definitely hasn't been the case. It is a very relaxing game that is still tons of fun to play, especially with friends. It evens provides incentives for you to play every day. The art style is also very cute (I love seeing all of the different villagers) and adds to the enjoyment. There have also been several updates since release, allowing new features such as collecting art, swimming, and competing in fishing/bug catching competitions.

Animal crossing has always been a relaxing time, a nice contrast to other more action intensive games. The lastest edition does a great job adding more engagement to the life simulation making you feel truly accomplished when you see the town thrive. Also came out at the perfect time considering the outbreak going on. Stay safe and thanks for reading.

My stepdaughter absolutely loves it. Just be warned, if you're kid isn't at a reading level, you'll have to play it with them as their is know human language spoken, just animal gibberish with subtitles. Much of the game is decision based so you kind of have to hold their hand through most of it. But they can really get lost in the in between parts. Which is essentially just roaming around doing silly things with no real point to any of it other than to stimulate imagination and learn a few problem solving skills. I don't see how it's any kind of fun but then again, I'm in my 40's. What do I know?

Awesome game animal crossing is a game that will keep you hooked up to your console and will also keep your kids interested as well. I recommend this game to people that are looking to invest family time together as the game is for all ages. The game is great tool to pass the time and keep your mind away from real life troubles.

I've never played animal crossing before so for a first timer it was a bit overwhelmed to get into and can lose its appeal if you don't have spare time to check in every day with your island. The joy in the game comes from the new things that can pop up on the island and sometimes you can miss these events if you can't develope your island any further.
