You could get lost for hours in this game. Definitely a good purchase for those that enjoy games like sims. My sons love this game, I had to buy two so they wouldn't argue, and then bought anotger switch and game for myself because of this game!

I've played and enjoyed them all since Gamecube, even though they're all pretty much the same concept. The game is charming and addictive, and the latest gameplay additions are a welcome change (I'm not going to spoil with what they are). It looks stunning and sounds sweeter than ever.

Waited for a long time for the next installment in Animal Crossing and this game deliver! Getting lost in daily routine on my island is a welcoming respite from my busy days and become an addiction; working now on getting the third star to start terraforming. Really well done Nintendo!!!

Its so much fun even as a casual player. I really only play on the weekends but it makes me feel so relaxed.

I’ve been an avid Animal Crossing fan for so long and this has fed my hunger for AC. This game has a lot of potential in these upcoming months with updates to the game and especially holiday updates! You can have fun with your friends by going to their island of have a party on your own!

My daughter loves to play Animal Crossing. This game has been a great distraction for her this year. She’s a senior in high school and because of COVID, so many school events have been cancelled. It’s nice that she can escape for a little bit into the World of Animal Crossing.

Having owned the original Animal Crossing on the GameCube, this version is a really great evolution of the series with much more to do, buy, design, and create. Having a really fun time with it so far!

My wife loves this game. Just bought the Switch for her. She wanted it for Christmas. Wanted to play Animal Crossing with our kids as we drove to our vacation spot 14 hours away. She loves that you can play with/against the kids. And now she can't put the game down.

If you've played Animal Crossing before this game takes all the things you liked and improves on them. If you haven't played before keep in mind this is a different sort of game. There aren't missions with a big endgame. Sure you can improve your island and your house, but really it's about relaxing in your virtual world and hanging out with your island-mates. The reason this is not 5 stars is the inability to create multiple islands on the same Switch. Creating your island is one of the best parts and it's a shame that people sharing a console can't experience that individually.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the best video games available for Nintendo Switch in my opinion. It’s incredibly fun to have your very own island town grow and improve and make it look the way you want with family and friends.

I've played at least 4hrs a day for the 8 days I've owned the game! You just get hooked in and don't want to stop playing! Either selling stuff to pay off your loans and just searching for new bugs, fish, fossils. Best Animal Crossing game yet. Simple but very polished game and graphics.

I purchased this game to be able to play with my daughter and go visit her island as she has her own Switch and game. OMG I haven’t been able to stop playing to the point I have passed my daughter’s progress. LOL she keeps telling me I am addicted to this game. I guess that’s true:-)

it is one of the greatest game that i got. I can't stop playing with it. You can have a family in the same island, but have to take turn and login to different account to play, can't play together. You can go visit friends. Great game to stay connect with friend during the pandamic.

This is going to be my second Animal Crossing game. The amount of things they added in the game was unbelievable. I don’t want to state what it is, as it can spoil some gameplay to people. I would recommend this as during quarantine times, you have something to look forward the next day.

If you've never played a game in the series, New Horizons is a great start. On the other hand, if you are already familiar with Animal Crossing, you will find a good amount of nostalgia but also pleasant little news, which will make this new adventure worthy of being lived day by day.

Bought this game for my wife. At first this game did not look interesting at all to me, but after seeing my wife play it for a while i fell in love with it. I dont even let her play anymore. Great game, lots of things to do, and having people to play with makes this game even better.

Caution.... this game is highly addictive! I deticated 3 months straight playing this and realized it was taking over my life! It’s so fun especially online! I definelty recommend finding groups on facebook and you can go to a lot of people’s island and getting new things!

My daughter (age 10) loves this game but lost it recently so I am buying it again. It is her favorite game and with my Best Buy rewards and the sale they were having on it, I couldn’t pass it up.

I am a pretty avid gamer, but my fiance is not so much. She is a HUGE fan of Animal Crossing and this has been the only game we play nowadays. This game has really allowed us to chill out like we are right on the island! We also enjoy being on the same island and working on it together.

I bought a copy for my niece, and got addicted on her island, so I had to buy a copy for myself. It's such a chill and fun game, even for players who haven't played the previous Animal Crossing series. I recommend it to every one! I wish it was possible to have two islands on a console.
