New Horizons is a worthy successor to the Animal Crossing franchise. The new features and characters highlight the classic elements and moments of the game. And starting out from scratch on an island is particularly clever. This is a must buy for Nintendo fans!

This game is awesome. I bought it for my son for his birthday. He’s on it everyday! He loves his he can play with his sister on her own game at her house! The game has a lot of wonderful features! It really keeps a kids imagination going.

I now understand what the hype is all about. The game very cute! It’s oddly relaxing and a really fun. It keeps you engaged and is very entertaining. I’ve only played about three times and I’m really enjoying it.

MY Granddaughter was ecstatic to get Animal Crossing for her birthday. We played together She crushed me..that made her happy too

We started off with 1 copy of the game when it launched, now it seems everyone in our extended family has a copy and even our grandmother is playing with us! Definitely fun for the Whole Family!

Since purchasing Nov 11th, my wife plays this at least 8-10 hours a day 7 days a week. It has consumed her and caused many arguments about time management. Our house is ruined. I guess its a great game? :)

Great game! My 11 year old loves this game because it is interactive and I love it because all the dialogue with her and characters keeps her reading. It’s like an interactive animated story book. It’s Great! I highly recommend this game.

Having played every game in the series, this game does justice with beautiful graphics, and a very nice relaxing experience. It is not like most games, I would recommend watching someone play or playing with a friend who has it to see if the game is for you!

Fantastic game! I highly recommend to those who are long-time Animal Crossing fans and/or those who enjoy relaxing gameplay centered around themes of decorating, light big catching/fishing, chatting with animal neighbors, etc. Nice way to relax and be creative!

Good game and worth the money, almost makes me want to buy another switch to make multiple villages.

This has been my teenage daughter's favorite game. She absolutely loves it and is super excited to show off what she's creating. I have 7 and 8 yr old boys that weren't really into the game so it may only be appealing to older age groups.

Great game for kids and parents. To fully enjoy the game with your family you will need multiple Switch units. The main user has more control over the island and secondary users tend to lose interest because of the lack of full interaction within the island.

Game is sooo good that my kids can’t stop fighting each other to play the game... my 5 year old can’t read and gets so mad that no one helps him to read, so he knows what to do next. Hopefully, this will encourage him to start reading sooner.

Most addictive game for all my girls. From mom to daughters, I no longer am the king of my switch. Parting is such sweet sorrow. I had too buy another switch and still don't get to play because they play together. Good problems, lol.

I dont have really anything bad to say about this game, sometimes i do not realize how long ill be playing, its that addictive Definitely burns time and has so many things to do, my whole family has their own copies!

I initially got the game for my 10yr old. Fast forward to now, I am playing it more than her. This game has a Minecraft feel to it, It's adorable and in real time. The seasons change according to where you live or at least your region. It's addicting

I can’t even put down the controller for two minutes to write this review. Very addicting. So many possibilities. Even more fun to hang out with friends online. Just make sure you don’t have to update your island or donate to the museum when your gate is open.

This review is based on a time in history where we are dealing with a pandemic called Covid-19. While there are many titles you can play for a quick gaming fix, Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Switch stands out. Not because it has flashy graphics or riveting dialog, but because it’s a great distraction. The game will entertain you and keep you coming back. Whether you play it daily or skip a few days to work, you’ll come back and enjoy this game. It allows you to escape to a virtual island where you start out with a tent and free to roam (albeit limited to the current island but you get to travel further as time goes on). The game includes seasonal activities that get incorporated. Whether you play during the day or during sunset you can find lots to due as the islands host and staff offer up many activities that you are tasked with completing. RECOMMENDED - great distraction.

The game is fun, you'll be surprised with the amount of hours you can spend playing it but it's not for everyone.
