Great game. It is a kid and adult friendly game. It’s a great way to pass time and be creative.

Great game, haven't played it as much as I wanted to but it is very much an update version of AC for the Switch. Great gameplay and very much to do so you stay coming back to the game.

The best return to form of Animal Crossing. This new game really makes the best use of the console and brings a lot to the table. Bought 2 copies afterwards.

This is my first full dive into an animal crossing game, but I dabbled with New Leaf so I knew what I was getting into. At the beginning of the game, it may feel limiting due to the way that events happen according to real time, but once you begin to unlock more and more you will find yourself falling in love with the characters, collecting, music, customization, etc. I will warn that this is a game that is t be enjoyed over a long period of time and can be played in short bursts everyday (~30 minutes) just to do your daily tasks. I've enjoyed my first week with the game so far (~60 hours) and look forward to all of the possibilities and events that are planned. Highly recommended!

I'm new to Animal Crossing and thought this game would be similar to Stardew Valley but it's really different. It's just as addictive as Stardew Valley as seasons change, so do resources and events. However, in Animal Crossing you have more creative liberties as you start out on an uninhabited island and have more control over who inhabits the island (villagers) and how the island looks like. Of course, the graphics are more nice in Animal Crossing New Horizon (ACNH) and you can visit friend's island via local play or via online play (if you have the Nintendo subscription service). I highly recommend Stardew Valley as well as it's just as fun and has different components to it.

Nice game for long time fans and new ones, those of all ages. Happy it came out during these times because it become the means of hanging out with my friends virtually and playing this together.

I've been playing this game basically non-stop since 3/20 and I've still not gotten bored! Well needed with all the craziness going on, peaceful and family friendly. especially fun with friends!

It’s fun and I can do what I want throughout the game! You get to “live your little life”. There are no monsters or scared things. I can fish, farm, craft, dig for things... it’s good ole fun!

If you're looking for a time killing life simulation, this is it for you. Animal Crossing is a series with an appeal that is incredibly difficult to place, but I think the best way to describe it is the freedom to live a relaxing life without the pressure of actual life. Although there are aspects of debt and social responsibilities in the game, you are by no means obligated to do so and can instead go fish, catch bugs, terraform your island, or just make art and sleep. Animal Crossing New Horizons provides you with that freedom in spades, and I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to tend a garden every day without having to worrying about killing those flowers.

Super fun, cute, and creative game to play. Hours pass once I turn on the game.

Perfect game for all ages. Animal crossing allows you to express your creative side. Build up your island and you can visit your friends islands online. Highly recommend for any switch owner.

I got this game for me (the mom) I really enjoy this game. I like i can just leave it and come back when i want and just play it.

It's what you've come to expect from Animal Crossing and refined to a certain degree. The increasing pocket size is one of my favorite additions. Crafting plays a huge roll now, so you have to collect materials reminiscent of Minecraft in order to make things like furniture, tools, and some story related stuff. Not a terrible addition if you're into it. Has a system where you earn points to redeem for upgrades (like the aforementioned pocket upgrade) and, of course, you have plenty of opportunities to earn and spend bells as you upgrade your house and buy items. If you like previous installments, you'll like this. More of the same with some quality of life improvements.

I love the game it is so cute and I can be so creative and also become a millionaire!! I play every day with my family and this is the perfect quarantine game so cute!! I am a gamer now :D

This is a fantastic game that is enjoyable to play with anyone! Kids play this game, and they really enjoy it!

I got a Switch and Animal Crossings in hopes that I could bridge the gap for my non-gamer girlfriend’s birthday. She is hooked! Perfect game because you can legit pick it up for a little play session and put it down into sleep mode for later. I guess some people don’t think you can be into video games casually. You can, and the Switch proved this for her. Plus now I get to game The Witcher 3 in bed at night with no complaints haha. ACNH is a fun game that can be played for short sessions but also watch out it can totally hook you in for an hour and a half sometimes. I prefer more action in my games but if it’s your thing the game is really polished.

Bought this for my 7yr old(1st grade). Reading is required for this game and she can comprehend almost all the interactions. Does need some assistance with larger words and scenarios. She’s had a lot of fun with this game and so have I. We’re on the same island together and we can send each other presents and play at the same time which is fun. It’s not great when it comes to coop but it’s sufficient for a short period of time. She also loves the creative process of building and designing her home. Only regret is that I purchased the physical copy instead of digital. I just wasn’t sure how much she’d like it and liked the idea of being able to resell if she didn’t.
