Animal Crossing: New Horizons provides a fun and relaxing escape into your own private island, allowing you a large amount of freedom in how you spend your days on that island. While the game does ask a fair bit of patience from its players at the start, it opens up immensely for those who do, giving a rewarding gameplay experience that not many other titles can. Whether you're new to the series or you've played every single Animal Crossing before, this is perfect for Switch owners of all ages.

By far one of the best games you can buy for switch to help pass the time. It’s not something I can dump 3-4 hours into in one session after you complete the main story, but it’s one of my all time favorite games for the switch. There’s tons of options on improving your island and if you ever get bored you can restart the game and make your island completely different. 10/10 would recommend

My daughters favorite game. This game brings back old style gaming for kids. It’s many levels of pure fun. Highly recommended.

I actually only bought this game because I'm stuck working from home and I saw a guy on Twitch playing it. I figured "what the heck" and bought it. I absolutely love this game. It's simple to learn. It's even easy to put down really. You can grind and grind and grind, but I really enjoy playing for an hour here and an hour there. One thing I would say is that I might have a hard time playing on the "portable" screen. Playing on a TV makes a big difference for me. Either way, a must buy! :)

Bought this game for myself buy my fiance won't put it down it's her game at this point, the game is extremely addicting especially once you power through the first few hours of sluggish nonsense trust me people just bear with it and the reward will be well worth the slow start of this game I would recommend that every Switch owner have this game just like I do for Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, the Zelda games, and Mario Odyssey this is just one of those you must have if you love your Switch.

Animal Crossing is the ultimate imitation of historic and often times malicious real-world systems in cute packaging. This game teaches real-life concepts such as debt, consumer consumption, commoditization of trading. Despite all these deeper ideas that the game takes part in. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a delightful game for all ages. Where you spend time and money; crafting, terraforming, and decorating in a calm, and gentle gameplay. A lot of good, casual fun would definitely recommend.

Such a fun game! I used to play this when I was younger on the DS and it is such a more integrative experience playing on a big screen. The game has also leveled up in so many ways. The graphics are great and there are so many new challenges. I might even be enjoying it now more than I did as a kid!

So I’ve always been an Animal Crossing fan, and like many others, I was ECSTATIC when I found out about New Horizons. I preordered it as soon as the preorder dropped, and I’ve played it nonstop. The game allows free reign over making the island look like what you want it to look like. Every day in this game allows new opportunities to complete tasks. The Nook Miles addition was very smart and allows the player to have fun without ever feeling like they’re just repeating the same things every day.

This is a relaxing and enjoyable game. It's open ended and you can enjoy it at your own pace. There are a few events that are locked to the first player (picking and naming the island, for example, other members of your family will have to play on the same island that the first player selected), so keep that in mind if that will matter to anyone in your family. I have an 8 year old and a 9 year old, along with me and the hardcore gamer husband, and all 4 of us are having a great time on our island.

This game is a fun, entertaining, and cute way to play solo or with family both locally or on-line (especially during this difficult time). Nintendo created many ways to play at your own pace so you can engage in activities to build up your community through crafting, shopping, gifting, participating in events, and just chilling with friends. I love the versatility of the Switch, from compact play on the console as a handheld to being connected to the TV. Overall, highly recommended!

Bought this for my kids for their second switch as I had the digital copy for the first switch. This is a very cute game that never ends meaning kids stay engaged and have fun for a long time. Nintendo keeps putting out new updates also which keeps this fun. This is worth far more in entertainment value than its sticker price.

I’m new to the animal crossing game’s, so when my friend told me to preorder. I was just going with the flow. I already knew a bit about the game style, and also read posts about its features. After playing it for a while, and mostly during this complicated time. I had fallen in love with it!! A great game to pass time! There’s many post in social media that shows the Player’s creativity. I’m not very creative, but watching them makes me want to work harder to create a beautiful island as well.

Love this game! I am 23 and play this whenever I can catch a few moments of free time. I love that I can play it in front of any age group, and still enjoy myself. In my opinion, it is not a "child-ish" game, but instead just a simple one. Because it is simple, it is also calming! Yes - even for the price - I would recommend this game to ANYONE from 1 - 99! The way they have manufactured this game, it would be no problem for an elderly person to be able to follow along and enjoy themselves.

From her: Easy to understand for the casual gamer. Enjoys customizing and crafting - especially changing outfits. Loot system may seem too generous at times, but it is a welcome feature. From me: Great loot system. Nothing ever feels hard to come by. Loot is generous and not much is required to craft. In-game currency is plenty if you did not want to wait and collect to craft. Does not feel like there is much of a “grind” to collect items and craft things you want, which is good in this case.

So much fun for my grandchildren. Makes them see the responsibility of their virtual animal.

I play this game still to this day and it's almost been a year since it's come out! Playing it with my friends and siblings has been a blast and great way to connect when meeting in person has been difficult. Plus there is so much to do and room for different looks on your island, home or your character! The updates have been fantastic and it's honestly been one of my favorite things of 2020! Definitely a great game for both hardcore and casual gamers.

Theres so much todo in the game at a good pace. Its not overbearing and creativly fun.
