I love this game and I have played most of the Animal Crossing games since the game cube. I love the idea of creating an island just the way you want. Previous games only allowed you to decorate your own house, and maybe build some inclines, bridges, or already designed items. New Horizons builds on that and lets you design almost anything you can think of. I already own a copy of the game, I bought this as a gift.

My sons and DIL have been playing this game and I finally decided to join in and I'm loving it.

I’ve been playing the game for a few days now and I absolutely adore it! Being stuck at home during the quarantine may cause boredom, but the game is there to relieve that! The game is peaceful and fun, it lets you show off your creativity when designing your island, and can be played for as long as you desire, as it has no set ending. The graphics and Music are absolutely stunning and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I think it's obvious by now that this is one of the biggest games of 2020. It's a great addition to the franchise. I do wish they would implement some of the features from New Leaf, which is properly still my favorite AC game to date. However, there's been a lot of nice changes in NH that make the game feel fresh, and I've put easily over 400+ hours in this games so I can't complain too much.

Recently decided to buy into the trend of animal crossing that I had seen spreading over the internet. Must say I am not disappointed. The game has managed to captivate my entire household with a zen-like experience. If you're looking to achieve some kind of fun and relaxation during these trying times I recommend this game. If you're just looking for something to do I'd also recommend it. I recommend it to almost anyone!

Easy to play and a great starter game! Good for any fans of previous Animal Crossing games!

My wife used to tell me “you will never get me hooked on a video game”...enter Animal Crossing. We are both newbies to the series, but the time that we have put into this game (the pandemic probably contributed a lot to that) has more than made this worth the money. Perfect for any free time we might have, building our island together has been a blast. I speak for both of us when I say this is highly recommended!

family friendly game for the kids and a nostalgic moment for the adults. The game is cute and can be played solo or multiplayer. The multiplayer couch function can be improved but that may come in later updates. It's mostly a design focused game so you can pick it up or put it down whenever you like and you won't be missing much. Nintendo online membership required if you want to visit your friends or have your friends visit.

My 10 year old said she liked it because you feel like a real person in the game and can explore and make your island a town! Very creative

Fun game, my daughter likes it and I got a second copy to trade items with her. That’s not exactly a good thing... The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because Nintendo purposely made this game to require trading with other people online to get all the variations of items. If you wanted the blue cotton candy machine too bad, you’re stuck with the black one with no way to get the blue one, ever. Each island only gets one theme for items, if you don’t like yours then restart the game. We restarted the game maybe 10 times, but you can’t find out what colors you’re stuck with until a few days into the game. I know some people “time travel” with the game system clock, but we shouldn’t have to do all that to build our island how we like. I’m hoping Nintendo patches in the option to edit furniture/item colors the same way you can with some of the tools you craft.

Ive never played a Animal Crossing game before so I was hesitant to buying this but after some convincing from some friends i purchased the game and I’m glad i did. This game is truly is fun when you just sit back a relax. I haven’t played any other games lately because I’ve been having such a great time with the game. If your looking for a game that you can just casually play and have a good time this is the game for you!!!

Im a variety gamer where i just own most things and choose what to play where based on the gameplay. Finding switch games is not always the most common for ne but i do enjoy the portability and easy experience for a chill game.

I played Animal Crossing on the 3DS and enjoyed the game even though I didn't put in the time I wanted into the game but something about having this game on the Switch makes it incredibly enjoyable! This has become my go-to game when not playing Overwatch with my friends. I have already put in too many hours on this game… more than I would like to admit. This is an incredible game! Fantastic time during the COVID-19 crisis.

Animal Crossings NH is one of the most calmest and relaxing games. Highly suggest it!

For all the animal crossing lovers, this is another win! I love that there's the ability to really customize your island, from pathways, fencing, and outright changing the landscape! The nook miles is a cool new feature where you can complete tasks and redeem them for other cool items. It has the classic islanders and features we all know and love with the addition of some really cool stuff!

If you have never played it you'll think is is boring looking or not worth it. Once you get started it is a bit slow but once it gets going you want to check it all the time to see what's new. Some days it may not be a game you will play for multiple hours but it will be a game you come back to daily. Great for this corona virus quarantine

Animal Crossing is one of my favorite Nintendo game series and this one was no different. Love the new direction they went with this game and have really enjoyed playing

I have never played any previous Animal Crossing game before this, but after playing this one, I feel I may have missed out on something great in my earlier years. The game is easy and creative and perfect for simply winding down and boosting your dopamine and endorphins, especially if you have friends to play with. If you are on the more creative side, this game can last you a lifetime for sure, no doubt.

This game keeps the kids involved for hours. Keeps their imagination and creativity flowing.

Animal Crossing New Horizons for Nintendo Switch is so amazing and fun to play. It has all of the best elements from the previous games and made it more dimensional, more creative, more diverse, and I am trying to imagine how one could ever really stop finding something new to do in this game. Well done, Nintendo. The only negative is having to pay subscription for on-line play. Other than that, it was worth the wait.
