Bought as a gift and they absolutely loved it and wouldn't put it down!

I played animal crossing as a kid and didn’t know if i would even enjoy it as an adult but it has truly become my escape and happy place. Especially during these crazy times. Overall a super relaxing, enjoyable game :)

As a life long Animal Crossing fan, the quality has been lifted into the stratosphere. So many systems are night and day better. The timing of it's release as well has made it a necessary coping mechanism during lockdown.

I’d never played an Animal Crossing game before, but I’m loving this. Had more than a few friends strongly suggest I get it and I’m glad they did. I know at least 3 people who bought a Nintendo Switch JUST to play this game!

Like many, I bought this game during the first summer of COVID. I still play it. And the just came out with a new update! There's so much to do, I rarely feel bored on my island :3

This is a very entertaining game. It doesn't have an end and you can do a good variety of things. You can advance in the game at your own pace and build an island as you see fit. It has seasonal events that keeps it fresh.

I love this game. My first animal crossing game was Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, and I decided to start playing this newer version. If you like Pocket Camp you will like this.

Relaxing game, recommend for long time fans of animal crossing and newcomers

Animal Crossing: New Horizons defined the lives of many gamers (and lapsed-gamers) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The perfect time to build your virtual life on a deserted island. Instant classic with hours of gameplay.

Hands down, a great, fun and peaceful escapism video game. The characters are adorable, the art style is bubbly, and the gameplay is simple enough to pick up immediately. Great game for beginners or the creative minded.

Perfect game during this lockdown. Several family members have it for Switch and we can play together while separated. So far have had many evenings of family fun visiting each other’s islands and “messing” with each other.

A much needed breath of fresh air. Some aspects of the game were better in New Leaf (villager visits, minigames) but overall it’s a big improvement and has managed to keep me close to my friends in some troubling times~

From someone who has played nearly every animal crossing game to date, Nintendo has done a nice job with this new version! All the things that bugged me about previous versions were changed and made better for this new game.

This game is really nice. Play it however you wish, my only advice is to play just a little bit everyday. Wife and I enjoy it when our little one is taking a nap. It's a slow game, but relaxing and full of little surprises.

This game is very entertaining and when you can play with others, it becomes even more fun! It is very fun and enjoyable for any age. Time is very important for certain things, but it’s very much worth it overall.

Fun little game however it does require some consistency and dedication to get where you want to be at. It's essentially like a life simulator game and requires you to consistently hop on day by day to maximize rewards and such. You build your own little town on an island that you are placed on and can visit your friends town islands online. It's a cool little game but doesn't deserve all the hype it got when it first came out.

First time playing this game, and I love it. It’s very relaxing, and while you have to really grind to get some things, you won’t miss out in the game if you don’t. If you like chill, cute games, you’ll probably like this.

To be honest, this game can be a bit of a time suck! That makes it difficult to be productive at times, but isn't that the mark of a great game? One you can't stop playing. I'm enjoying this one immensely!

My daughter and son loves this game! The game is very family oriented!

I love this game, my gf and I play it pretty frequently. Definitely for the older crowd, unless your kid enjoys playing on their own. Our 10year old enjoy fortnite better lol, but she’s a social butterfly so there’s that
