Customers are impressed with the PowerPort 5W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad's ease of use, affordability, and compatibility with various phone cases. Many appreciate its compact size and stylish design, finding it convenient for bedside charging. However, some users find the indicator light too bright, and a few have noted slower charging speeds and occasional placement challenges. Overall, the positive feedback on convenience and value outweighs the concerns about the light and charging speed.

Solid performer--grab it on sale for best value

You can read other reviews regarding charging speed and try to judge the results for yourself. Bottom line...yeah, it's only 5W, but you won't necessarily even get a FAST 5W without a Qi charger to back it up as well. I'm not using a Qi charger here at work so I wasn't expecting microwave oven-style speeds. That said, it has done what I've needed it to do in enough time to seem reasonable: wirelessly charge my phone through my case. If you need something to juice up your phone SUPER-fast, you're probably going to want one of the active cooling, high-wattage units instead.
But this one is silent, low-profile (it's barely wider at the edges than the sides of my iPhone X), nice and grippy on the top and bottom, and has performed more than adequately attached to a 5-port charging hub. There are other "entry level" chargers on the market that will probably hold up and perform just as well that clock in just a bit less pricey, but by and large, it's a solid performer and worth the purchase even if you can't find it on sale at the time.
Be advised that for those of you looking to use this at night, the charging LED runs all the way around the bottom circumference of the charger--it's blue, it pulses when it's charging, and it's bright. BUT REJOICE...there's a hidden pressure switch under the rubber non-slip ring on the bottom; gently press the charger down--even when it's already sitting on the tabletop with a phone in place--and the light will go off while the charging continues in the background (there's even a reassuring little "click" of the switch to let you know you've done it right). I almost returned the charger at first because the bright charging light was keeping me awake in bed--I moved it to my office before I even realized that the LED had an off switch. Now that I know, it's definitely a keeper!

I just purchased my first phone capable of wireless charging, and this is my first wireless charger, so I have no other experience to compare it to. It doesn't charge nearly as fast as the wired charger that came with my phone, but it's adequate for my needs. I charge my phone with this charger while sitting at my computer for a couple of hours in the evenings. It's not too big, and has a nice textured surface to prevent easy slippage. It charges flawlessly through my Ringke case and has not been picky about connecting even if I do not have the phone perfectly centered. As other have mentioned, the cord is pretty short. Mine is on my computer desk plugged into my surge protector which is also on my desk, so it works for me. If I were using it on my nightstand overnight and having to stretch it to a wall outlet, it probably wouldn't reach. The blue light ring pulses slowly while charging and I do not find it to be too bright. It gets warm while charging, but not overly hot. I would definitely buy it again.

Bought this when it was on sale. It did take a while to get it shipped, over a couple weeks. Plugged the unit in, and tested it with my iPhone X, and it worked well.
My only area for improvement is in the positioning of the phone in order to make it charge. The phone really needs to be dead center in order to connect. Because of this, I had to remove my Popsocket. It does not work with a Popsocket, placed in a lower position. Maybe it would work if I had the iPhone X Max, but my X leaves no room for a Popsocket on this unit.
I must say that I was very pleased that this wireless charger did connect through my thick Otterbox Defender case. Good job on that! Overall, for under $20, it is a good choice.
I will also say that it would be nice to have a slightly longer USB power cable for my uses. I think it is a 3’ cable. It barely reaches and sits on top of my nightstand. A 4’ cable would be better for me.

Overall, this works great. It's not the fastest one available nor is it the least expensive; however, the construction seems somewhat durable. I like the nonslip surface on the top and small Anker brand logo in the middle, blue LED ring backlight when charging, and what looks like a carbon fiber edge. (I'm not sure if it is!)
Charging: Sufficient. I had the Samsung Gen 1 charger for my Galaxy, and it charged like a snail. I'm using an iPhone 8 with this product, and it works fine when I'm sitting at the computer working for extended periods of time.
Cost: It's rather expensive. I bought this on sale for $29.00 plus tax. The regular price was much higher. In searching the internet, I found some others from Anker that are less expensive and newer. Given the opportunity, I would try another one, but I'm not sure if the build quality would be equal.
In conclusion, I like this charger enough not to return it. I carry it in my bag to work and use it in place of the standard charging cable. The convenience of not having to plug my phone in at my desk is priceless.

Got a few of these as gifts for family. Good feedback from them and I tried one myself and was not disappointed. Simple flat mount. You just have to ensure the phone is off the case and it is in the correct position so it’s charging. Best used during bed time for a full charge. I’ve noticed if the phone is not placed correctly your phone may not charge at all. Recommend.

Good purchase
It charges fairly quickly And it’s nice to have the option not to plug in your device to be charged. The only negative thing about this charger is sometimes you have to move it around until u see the blue light indicating charge ,that maybe user error but it’s a keeper.
Got this as a deal of the day and the price was awesome $12.99, you can’t beat that for a charger for my iPhoneXR

This wireless charger was a great value compared to others at the time I purchased. It works well with an iPhone XS and is not as finicky as some other models with placement to charge the phone. It has a glowing/pulsating light underneath that helps to know that charging is taking place. There is a simple button underneath to turn off that glow if it bothers you at night. Please keep in mind that this does not include the wall charger and has a fairly short cable. I already had the wall power supply and longer cable, but others may need to factor that into the overall cost.

I wasn't expecting lightening-fast speeds with this 5W charger, but qualitatively at least, this product charges plenty fast, I don't perceive its slow at all, as some other reviewers have noted. The Tech21 Evo case on my iPhone doesn't appear to interfere with charging at all, haven't even tried to charge without the case on, works great as it is. We'll see how this charger fares over time, but so far its great. Once again, Best Buy Deal of the Day scores!

This is a nice little charger that's a good price. I like how the ring of light at base is blue when charging and green when done charging. BUT, note that the light can be bright in a dark bedroom, so I would caution you if you're going to put it on your nightstand. It doesn't light the room by any means, but if you're sensitive to any light in your room, it will bother you.

My plug to charge the phone was worn out. I decided to get one of these wireless. It was between Samsung or this one. The reviews were about the same but it was mentioned that the Samsung was finicky to connect and charge. Samsung also cost more.
This charger has worked perfect for two weeks so far. It has a glowing light that can be shut off. It charges my phone every night with no problems. But it only gets 4 stars because the cord is kind of short for me to run and plug into the wall outlet. And speaking of that, it does not come with a wall outlet plug. It only had a USB plug. Good thing I had a spare plug, make sure it is 5w (2amp). I think some of the people who had problems with this charger did not have the proper plugs.

Not as fast as using a lightning cable and you do have to make sure the phone is situated correctly for charging. But it does charge through a case and is convenient.

This wireless charging pad has no difficulty charging my iPhone 8 through the back of its Otterbox Defender case and it looks somewhat stylish with its faux carbon fiber and a subdued indirect blue light at the base.

Overall a good product, it's simple, no frills, has a blue light ring around the base to let you know when its charging and is small and portable. This charger was fairly inexpensive when comparing to other options and does the same thing. Its 5W rating makes it charge slowly so I don't find myself using this often, additionally with a sturdy 'Otterbox' case this has no problem charging. If I were to buy it again I would go for a higher output model.

Charges my XS max with the case on it. It’s not a fast charge, but works just fine on the nightstand for overnight charging. I have a higher watt Mophie also and there’s not that big of a difference. For a fast charge use a cord. It’s a good deal for $13

This wireless charging pad does what it’s intended to do just at an extremely slow pace! It’s great if you want to put your phone down and won’t need to pick it up for hours. For a normal charge use your lightning cable, if charging overnight this is perfect and you won’t even notice how long it takes to get to 100%.
Using an iPhone XR and 10 watt AC adapter. For the price paid I’m pleased with it. At the end of the day it allows me to take advantage of a cool new feature an I honestly don’t mind the minor flaw.

I purchased this on sale as a gift. Very simple to plug in and started charging our iPhoneX. So far, all we do is lay the phone down and it charges without moving it around. Going to use on the bedside table and so far, it's working as expected.
