||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked the idea of wireless charging and these were on sale so my wife and I bought a couple of them to try out when we bought our new iPhones. I like the build quality and design of this product, but when I tried using them they got way too hot on both the pad and at the charger plug as well. Needless to say, this DID NOT give me warm fuzzies, just way too warm electronics, so I returned them and bought something that does give me warm fuzzies, extra storage for my iOS devices. HAHA. I'll try wireless charging again, but just not with these units honestly.

Posted .The 5W Qi Charging pad is a device that has to be plugged into a power source to transfer power to your phone. In regards to the 5w Qi pad not holding a charge, can you elaborate? Because if you don't hook up to a power source, the Qi pad will not send any power to your phone.
