I've used both cheap and expensive models of dash cams. This one is number 6. I'm a truck driver, they all die from vibration sun and dust eventually. This is the the best one so far. The best part is the smartphone app (I use a Note9) and the cameras WiFi. You can pull videos off of it without removing the sd card or using ausb cable and computer, that's huge for me. Crystal clear recordings. GPS tracking for location and speed(can be disabled). The power cord is really long, makes it easy to hide. Come with a 32GB MicroSD card, book says max is 128.

Make sure you get the warranty, I've had this for almost a year and it has stopped recognizing the memory card. I've put in two additional cards and still nothing. I'll be returning and maybe try a new brand. If you take a chance then I would like to point out that the videos were nice and clear. You can download the app to your vehicle and see everything on your phone. Lastly, I would recommend but like all products I may have just bought a bad one.

Wanted a motion activated camera which this camera does not do. But the parking mode did catch a recent vandalism event. It's helping in the police investigation.

ROAV Dashcam and App were very easy to install. The App provides quick access to the videos on your phone which is a feature that not all dashcams provide. Note this dashcam is front cam only and no rear cam.

Bought this for my daughter AND came in handy as she was on the freeway when all of a sudden there was a couch on the street, with her smart Maneuvering, she was able to swerve and miss the couch. Later, we were able to watch video of the incident on this dash camera

This is a good camera worked for about 6 months and than went black no screen. Customer service sent me a new one but i haven't used it yet

You can’t beat it for the price, I read some negative reviews but I frankly can’t see why. Very good quality, small size, excellent picture and great display, showing a lot of pertinent details like location, speed, date and time. I highly recommend it!

The setup is a breeze, and connection to the ROAV app is easy as well. Although transferring video via the app can be quite slow, I just pop the microSD card out and into my computer instead. Video quality is good.

Great for 100$. Smaller cables to hide makes for a clean install. Transfer of files to phone via Bluetooth is a bit slow but video is decent

Works well overall. Setup was a little more complicated than I would like, but it takes a clean shot and is easy to use once setup.

Bought this for my truck thinking I probably won't need a rear facing cam. I wish I did. The ability to record with battery power when the vehicle shaken is great. I wished it was more sensitive in motion detection. The device's built in wifi is great to check pictures without having to take out the SD card. So far it has stood up to FL summer heat unlike some of the cheaper products.

This cam is super easy to set up and has really good quality video. i will say that the accident sensor is a bit sensitive often going off with harsh bumps in the road... but in all honesty that's not really a bad thing. id rather it over save then not save when i absolutely needed it.

The video is a little bit on the darker side as compared to my cheaper Whistler I have on my other SUV. Easy set up though!

I liked this dash cam form and mount. Having seen the 2K resolution of another dash cam, I think this would be great if it had a 2K version.

The device is really well built, however the lack of a connection through WiFi direct or Bluetooth could be a real deal breaker for some. To connect to the device you must enter the devices WiFi router name and password. The app requires you setup a VPN to utilize your data connection with the WiFi connection, even through it is not needed on the more recent versions of android. The network is 2.4GHz and tends to fail in crowded areas. The app itself is bare-bones, doesn't allow you to change all the devices settings. Is missing auto-download features. The instruction manual is for physical installation and lack all real technical specifications and details about devices software operations and what the settings actually do. Feedback, customer contact does not seem to existence and if you need to ask questions it must be through a bot that is worse then yahoo!. The physical device is not that bad, cord is long enough to go around windshield and to make it to underneath the dash. You make have problems with the cup if you don't wipe don't the windshield with alcohol. It might be beneficial to buy a small simple 1 in 1 out power pack to help the device with parking recording. The device cord is a usb - a male to usb - micro b right angle male. The device itself is usb micro b female. The suction cup has a short usb - micro b female to usb - micro b male 3 -5 inch cable.

I thought it had front and back camera for interior of the ca also. However, it is clear and good night pictures.

Pros: Good camera for everyday driving, Somewhat good night vision. Cons: expensive License plates are pixelated, so you can’t decode the plates. Does not record right if the vehicle are speeding. Night vision camera not good.

My old dash cam, which I’ve had since 2015 finally gave up the ghost. It was difficult to use at times. So when we purchased the ROAV we were pleasantly surprised with its ease of use. So far it is working as advertised.

Compact camera with suction mount. No issues. Connects to phone with easy to use app.

I got this to replace a cheap dash cam. This one is a great camera, very clear image. I appreciate that it has the option to record if something come close to the car.
