The connection does drop out sometimes, but thats rare and not a big deal. I really dont like that they are not independent from each other. You can have the right earbud in by itself but you can not have the left one in solo. The right bud connects to the phone while the left bud connects to the right earbud. Also had a sporadic charging issue where the right bud wouldnt charge in the case, but that seems to have been a fluke.
