I love the look and design of this printer. This will be my 4th printer since picking up this hobby. I will say the easy of use, connectivity between apps and software as well as just flat out working right out the box has impressed me since the first print. From going to a slow printer to the max speed this unit offers, I was sure the extruder was going to fly off. It has been reliable and fun with this upgrade.

I made the mistake of buying this and it became a nightmare. At first glance, it seems well put together and was easy to install. However, this printer like all AnkerMakes suffers from extruder problems and filament feeding issues. I even reached out to the AnkerMake customer technical support which wasn't very helpful. One of the tech support agents acknowledged that my issues were part of chronic problems with the AnkerMake product line and he told me to buy a Creality 3 instead (that's what he was using). And he was right !! When AnkerMake own tech support does recommend or use their printer then you know it's a crappy printer!

Love this printer. Minimal stutters (It's not perfect!) but prints come out solid and effective.

I bought this 3D printer from Best Buy during the Black Friday sale. It was a Christmas present for my son. The printer was great for about a month of use until it jammed up and wouldn't print any longer. Best Buy didn't offer a protection plan on it (which should have been a huge red flag for me) so when I went to the store to ask what to do, I was told I needed to go to AnkerMake. AnkerMake was decent at first with their customer service and even sent me a new printer head with instructions on how to install it. The head they sent did not fit the printer. I also had the STEM teacher at my son's school come over to take another look at it since he is more familiar with 3D printers. Neither of us could make it work. I went back to AnkerMake to see if I could send them the printer for them to fix. The simply asked me to try again with the head they sent me. I then told him that I would be better off buying a new printer. He said they had a deal on the M5C printer (the stepped down version of this). Really?? Plus, the M5C was actually on sale for a better deal at Best Buy! I've opted to look elsewhere because Best Buy clearly won't back this product by not offering a protection plan when they basically offer one when you purchase a candy bar! Plus, AnkerMake won't take the printer back to fix it. Also, there aren't any places is the Twin Cities metro area that fix 3D printers. I called no fewer than 20 places. I'm writing off this $500 printer as a loss. There are other stores in the cities that offer great warranty's on their printers. I would recommend going there. I wish I had done that in the first place. This whole experience was very disappointing in regards to both Best Buy and AnkerMake. I was really hoping one of them would make this right. They did not. Be very careful buying a printer at Best Buy. They just don't back what they are selling.

So it works decently BUT printing off of the app is a pain. Just wished the app worked better. Also the corgi it printed broke within 5 mins so… there’s that…like that it can print useful and fun things. Just worried about the quality control… have yet to print a second thing.

The software is not quite up to par for massaging files. I'm trying to learn Blender.
