bought this one as a gift because we love ours so much. This is a water circulation device that can be attached to your own pot or other container. Plenty of cord length so you can plug in and place in a convenient counter location. Easy to set the temperature. It takes a little while to get the water up to cooking temp, but you can hasten that process by starting with warmer water. The adjustable clamp options set this apart from other immersion circulators because it allows you to securely attach to a variety of containers of varying shapes and depths. Have not used the bluetooth option because I just don't find it necessary.

This thing works magic! Super convenient and fun to use. Great more meal planning and allows to cook in different marinates or flavorings. 10/10 recommend!

The precision cooker heats up water pretty quickly and maintains temperature accurately. However, I was only able to connect with an iPhone but not my Android phone. It makes a high pitch noise but doesn't bother me too much

Not your typical user, though it does cook steaks to perfection and makes some of the best flank steak fajitas we have ever had. BBQ is king in my house, so we cook several briskets, rib racks or pork butts at once and then divide them into meals for four and freeze. You have to experiment with time and temp, but usually 30 minutes to an hour from frozen. This works with brisket, grilled or smoked chicken, pork, and ribs. Makes cooking dinner during the week super easy.

I bought this to replace a less expensive and lesser known sous vide cooker that was getting a bit buggy with the timer function. The Anova has an excellent app, excellent display and controls. My only observation so far is that while the device it replaced was also 1000 watts, the older device appears to heat the water significantly quicker than this one. That being said, I pair the two in the same cook pot to get the water to temperature more rapidly.

If you have just now decided to delve into Sous Vide cooking this is your best place to start. I'm in love with the ease of use and how great this has been through the pandemic. I am still getting creative with new ways to sous vide dinners for the family. This has helped me make the best steak I've ever cooked and we even got creative and made our own vanilla extract!
