||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I called customer service, and they were very helpful (which is a big plus) but we couldn't get but a fraction of the channels that we were supposed to get, even after following the suggestions from customer support. If you are in a better reception area, it would probably be fine, but if there is any blockage and/or concrete, you may have trouble.

We have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. The app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. I opened it up and it didn’t look anything like the antenna on the box, the output coaxial connector was completely missing from the unit (you can see where it was pulled off of the circuit board) and it was basically a piece of trash.

Posted .This is the Antennas Direct Team, please return the product back to the store. Best Buy places items back on shelf when others returns, therefore we cannot control this process, nor make sure the correct product is in the box. Thank you for your time.

The small flat antenna we bought for less than 1/4 of what this cost worked better than this one. I should have returned this but wasn't able to within the return guidelines. We are using it indoors, possibly might work better if we mounted it outside.

Posted .Try placing the antenna in another location. You will also need to face the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. You may need to move the antenna to several locations to find the best reception. Remember to rescan for channels at every location you place the antenna or you will not see the TV channels come in. There are a wide variety of reasons that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. Also, with the 2MAX, most people tend to place the antenna closer to the floor. The towers are 1500 feet up in the air, so the higher you can get your antenna the better.
