Posted .Hello, we are sorry to hear you did not have a great experience with our ClearStream 2MAX. There are various reasons that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. Also, sometimes the signal is not even present in your living space. Therefore, we always recommend installing the antenna up as high as possible in a room or outdoors. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you have not already returned the product and this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. We appreciate your purchase and feedback.

I was going to install outside and was apprehensive about the plastics surviving outside with the weather conditions

Could be due to more cell towers in the city that seem to interfere.

Posted .When changing your antenna from one to another, it is best to unhook the antenna and run a channel scan. Then hook up the new antenna and run another channel scan to clear the tuner.

Try placing the antenna up higher as trees and building can block TV signals. You will also need to face the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. I was dissapointed to see that i actually lost channels, it could be because this is NOT a powered antenna, Got 64 channels (both analog & digital) from previous antenna hardware, and only got 34 channels in return from this unit. I tested both interior, and by the window with no significant improvement.
