I was struggling to get reception and this is probably the best antenna on the market. ABC did not come in because as the sales associate explain they have old technology that does not work with newer antennas. One problem that was extremely irritating was trying to get it to stand up when I was optimizing position for signal. Also screwing in the connectors was kind of difficult. You will have to get it in your hand to see what I mean. There is also not an easy way to connect it to a wall. I just ended up using a big nail. And then all of a sudden the first week of January my signals went out. I had to end up moving it from behind the TV to sitting by the window and this fixed everything. This was the third antenna I had tried to get signal. And the first one to work.

The antenna did not pick up all available channels when I mounted it inside my house, so I installed it on the roof. Now it picks up all the channels that I bought it for.

So far, I have used this antenna inside the house only, but it has detected over a dozen more channels than my previous antenna did. In my area, however, the public television station is the most difficult signal to pick up though it should be within range of this antenna model. No one can seem to get it without an exterior antenna or a cable or satellite service. So, it's effectiveness as an external antenna has yet to be tested here.

[A new cord-cutter using this with Tablo Quad DVR] We are north of Fort Worth which puts us about 35 miles from the towers on Cedar Hill (near Dallas). This antenna pulled in all of the stations in our area (about 65 of them) with no problem, even sitting in a window sill about 2 feet off the ground. It will be eventually placed outside (where my DirecTV dish is now sitting).

Was surprised how many channels we were able to receive off-air. Installed outside vs. in an attic.

Able to receive many local stations with fabulous reception. Excellent considering we live in a valley surrounded by mountains. I definitely recommend this antenna.

If you MUST have an indoor antenna, THIS is the one to get. It performed well indoors, BUT it did even better outdoors. So if you can mount it outside or at least in you attic, you'll get better reception than inside your house. Just MAKE SURE you check antennaweb.org for the direction of your broadcast towers and place this antenna on the part of the house.

Just got it today and assembled(minor) plugged it in and rescanned channels, wow no amplifier and indoors getting all local channels, just wait until I mount it in attic. Picture is way better than cable and streaming!

Getting all the Local Channels even Orlando and Tampa

I wish it was a little better at getting the distant channels its great for the local channels.

I purchased this antenna to help with "cutting the cable". It was easy to install and does it's job. Still working on other options to complete my goal of no dish!!

Took a few minutes to scan for the channels and then perfect reception! It’s only the local channels but it is the bad weather backup to my less that perfect dish TV

This worked beautifully when we placed on roof and connected through cable to our media closet! We had tried indoor antennas that just wouldn’t pick up very much.

Antennas Direct - ClearStream 2MAX Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna did what was supposed to do. However indoors it had some limitations. I purchased item to allow me to receive one local station and it did do that but it kept finding stations I wasn't looking for with ease but when it did find the station I was looking for it's position in the house was very unsightly and in the way due to my home being a brick home the antenna didn't pick up the wave length. due to the fact I was going in for back surgery the next day I left the antenna where it finally found the channel wavelength. However during the procedure it did work very well outside and due to my attic having two foot of blown in insulation I didn't try it there but it would have there as well.

works gr8, gets all local stations, even some I didn't know were there! Gr8 picture on tv!!

I tried two different indoor antennas with minimal results. I mounted this antenna in place of my really old dish and used the existing coax and it worked like a charm.

I when from 50 to 72 channels! Bought this one to try and get the Dabl channel I couldn't get with the old antenna. This works great and brings in tons more stations too! Highly recommend it. Just remember to buy the coax cable because it doesn't come with one. I have it sitting on my balcony and it looks like a sculpture, not an ugly antenna!

Much better than the old rabbit ears. 30 + channels, not bad for living in the country.

This antenna boosted my reception to allow me to receive very many additional TV station signals locally without needing cable. A very worthwhile investment!

I use it at my Laguna Niguel home and I'm able to pickup all local channels all the way from LA.
