Installing this is one of the things I did when I cut the cord. I put it on top of my two story house. Most stations are around 45 miles away. For the most part this picks up about 40 channels. Sometimes the channels will stop working but it's because of the distance, not the antenna. I get all major channels.

Installed this HD antenna in a spare bedroom that gets used twice a year. Placed in the attic, and it gets about 80 channels.

I wanted a simple passive outdoor antenna for local coverage. This one fits the bill perfectly and provided excellent reception.

Antennae works great. This is my second one. One outside and one inside. They both bring in the channels that I watch.

Very happy with the reception I get. I should have cut the cord a long time ago.

Using it indoors and pulling in stations 25-50 miles away. It comes with a nice indoor stand + outdoor mounting hardware.

Good antenna. 4 stars because it is a little top-heavy and easy to tip over. The cord that came with it is short so we bought a longer one. This seemed to help get better reception because I can more easily adjust the direction of the antenna.

I get much better reception with this antenna then any of the previous ones I had. I now can watch ION and I am happy.

After doing some research I was looking forward to getting this antenna as it had both UHF and VHF. In my area there are a lot of UHF channels and which I had previously noted that I was having issues in receiving. After plugging this antenna in I had very little issues with signal reception. Note I also utilized an antenna amplifier to boost the signal but overall I am pretty happy with this antenna.

I bought this for my mom for her birthday. She is 77 and had no problem setting it up herself.

Antenna works great and is easy to set up. I placed mine in the attic and used the tv cable connections from my old cable subscriber.

I returned this as a $10 pair of rabbit ears got me the same channels as this did. You might have different experience based on satellite location but I'd say it's not worth the price. Keep in mind if you have an HD smart tv, you won't need an HD antenna to get free cable channels. This is because there is already am HD receiver in your TV and bunny ears is probably all you need.

Using this in a basement and getting great reception. More channels than I get on a cheaper antenna upstairs.

Fairly easy to set up, although the clerk told me it came with everything needed, but it turned out I had to buy a cable to connect it up. picture has a tendency to "digitize" into pixels and then right back into the picture. However, since I just use it to watch the nightly news, no big deal.

rock solid reception of all my local stations. They are all within 30 miles, so it does as advertised.

I have the ideal location and position for the antenna but it is not getting the range indicated on the box.

Very disappointed. This is suppose to be a good antenna. I put it up in the attic replacing an existing spaceship style omni-directional that was about five years old. I got it to scan 36 channels. None of them tuned in. I put back the old antenna and scanned 86 channels. About half tune in, but that is what it always did. I even used the app to point it in the right direction - Chicago which is about 30 miles. This will be returned tomorrow.

I get all my local channels and then some. The picture is great too. The key is to move the antenna around to get different channels.

This antenna has improved my reception vs. a flat "leaf"-type antenna. With the leaf-type antenna I could only receive 21 local channels, with the Clear Stream 2MAX I can receive 37 local channels. This is with the antenna on a table top, indoors, at only about 3-feet above the ground. Presumably, if I would mount it up higher my reception would improve further. I also like the variety of mounting methods that are included in the package.

It was reasonably priced and works even better than I had hoped. Saving a bundle by cutting out cable service.
