Posted .Sorry for the inconvenience. Some people have to work a little more to achieve the signals especially if you are installing the antenna on the floor right next to your TV. Most signals are not present lower to the ground. The TV towers are 1500 feet up in the air, so getting the antenna up as high as you can will provide the best signals. We hope you scanned your TV for channels using your remote!

If you placed the antenna on the floor, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. Great Antenna for getting rid of Cable

The ones that mount in your window worked ok and depending on the the ones I tried I ranged between 10 to 25 channels. The amount of channels you can receive will depend on the direction the window is facing and what TV stations are in that direction. The ClearStream 2 I mounted in my Attic rather than on the roof or chimney. I did a search online for the direction of all the local TV stations to figure out the direction to aim the antenna. I mounted mine upside down from the rafters to give it a little extra hight. Once mounted and faced in the direction of the main stations I was interested in I found I received 56 stations. The stations I was getting not only the stations in the direction the antenna was facing but also ones in the opposite direction. I was getting stations from Boston and Providence and those broadcast-ed in HD are crisp and clear with great detail. The farthest station I receive in is 23 miles from my location. after that the closest is 40 miles away. If I had the antenna in the direct path of those stations I might be able to receive them but I was happy with the results I am getting. If I had mounted it on the Roof or Chimney to give it extra hight I might receive more stations that what I am currently getting with it in my attic. Keep in mind that you should check online for what local stations you have available in your area. I used https://nocable.org/ when looking for direction and distance of my local stations. placing the antenna as high as you can and if possible in a direction of no obstructions such as buildings since this will cause signal reception issues. If you have cable now and plan on getting rid of it they normally do not take the cable/coax splitter/amplifier distribution union used to connect to all the cable outlets in the house. I ran the Coax cable from the antenna to the splitter that that distributes the signal to all the rooms that have TV's. Just remove the cable connection that comes from the street and connect the antenna to that input. This way all my TV's that had cable now use the antenna so multiple people in the house can watch TV at the same time still. If you still want your sport channels and Pay movie channels you can get them over the internet by using pay services like Sling TV and Netflix and still pay less than you did for cable. In my case I dropped by cost by $100 getting rid of cable and using the HD antenna along with Sling TV and Netflix.

I had to reposition the antenna at least 3 times in one night. This happened every couple of days. I have better things to do than continue to pay around to get the picture to stay clear on this piece of junk. Never again.

Thought I’d try a more compact newer one. It only got 4 channels all in Spanish not close to what my older one does. Tried moving it around. Not sure the problem. Returned it and put old one back up. Old one Works great.

This antenna gives you the choice of inside or outside. It has a range of 60 miles and looking at their website I have 14 stations within 36 miles of my house. I just set it in my attic and hooked it to the existing cable and got 53 channels. Very good picture on most channels. It gave me great pleasure to call Cox and cancel my $89 a month bill. So I got a new TV, BluRay and antenna 12 months 0% and it will pay for itself after 6 months. I wish I would have done this years ago.
