There are also a wide variety of reasons that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. Also, with the 2MAX most people tend to place the antenna on the floor. The towers are 1500 feet up in the air, so the higher you can get your antenna the better. We had tried an indoor antenna, no go. This outdoor antenna was no different. No new channels at all. Total Waste of time and effort

Posted .Sorry for the inconvenience this caused you. When you connected the antenna, did you scan the TV for channels? If not, please try this by using the remote control for your TV. Go to menu, then channels and scan for channels. It is also possible that you are installing the antenna in a location where no signals are present. Try moving the antenna to a different area of your home and rescan the TV for channels again. Some locations can be in a bad spot to receive signals. The towers are 1500 feet up in the air, so the higher you can get your antenna the better. Plus, when you connect a new antenna to your TV, you must rescan the TV for channels using your remote. Your TV tuners locks in on the channels from your previous antenna and once you disconnect the cable, some signal loss will be seen.

It actually didn't work as well as the cheap one I already had. Maybe it was my geographical location, because this antenna has gotten many good reviews.

wouldn't receive a good signal from 2 miles away

I tried an indoor placement on a clear day and reception was spotty.

Posted .Placing an antenna in the right location is the key to getting better signals. If you placed the antenna on the floor, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception.

Posted .It is possible that you were already receiving all the available channels in your area with the indoor antenna - even within a 60 mile range. We always recommend checking the towers before upgrading to a new antenna as we do not want folks to purchase equipment they may not need.
