    Works as Expected

I tried the indoor antennas, but could only get FOX/ABC consistently, sometimes NBC/CBS, and never PBS. Part of this is due to the fact that my TV is in the center of the house, and not near a window. I decided to try this antenna and placed it in my attic and picked up 66 channels -- all clear, including all 6 of the PBS stations I wasn't able to get before. It was easy to plug in the antenna into the existing coaxial cable in my attic, and I got great reception on the TVs throughout the house. The best part is that I didn't have to install it outside -- I just placed it on my AC duct (it comes with a indoor stand) and plugged it into the nearby coax. Works great and the quality is also great. Not sure how the picture could be any better if I mounted it outside. Would recommend this antenna to anyone.

We are very happy with this antenna.we are saving a lot of money every month since we quit cable and are grateful for that. The image is crystal clear and if it gets sometimes pixelated on a channel we adjust it with the tv’s remote by pressing the auto scan button. The antenna receives a lot of channels that we didn’t even know existed. Couldn’t be happier.

    Great Antenna

Here's the deal, I have tried many of the flat panel antennas that you mount on the wall...they worked but not well.. so I bit the bullet and bought the ClearStream 2V, climbed up on the roof and mounted it... which worked much better up until a few weeks ago, then it started acting up every time a car went by but only on a few stations...so today I'm reading stuff on bestbuy.com and noticed that there was a new model...ClearStream Model: C2MVJ-5 so off to best buys to get this one... well my only disappointment is that I didn't get this one first... picture is much brighter and no digitizing !!!

    Incredible reception

I just got back from Best Buy with my new antenna and a 50 foot length of coax. I plan to run the coax up through the wall into the attic (or possibly an outside mount), but decided to conduct a quick initial test, first: so I hooked up the antenna to my TV and just propped the antenna up on a couch. This is nothing like a recommended installation, but a channel scan detected over 70 channels coming through crystal clear. I expect to see even more impressive reception once the antenna is mounted properly in my attic or on the roof.

No complaints and met my needs

I live in the bigger city and my goal was just to pull in the major stations, which this did. I was able to even use it within the living room (1st floor) on a two story house. With the tuner (external) I was using it with, I had to hold and aim the antenna near the windows (did it twice, both left and right, to see which way pulled the most stations and limited by the cable length I had too) to grab the signals during my tuners scan process and after that, the stations pulled in fine with it sitting above the TV. You may need to do the same or go so far to mounting it in the attic or even outside, especially if your trying to get more channels than what you had before. The TV tuner (again, mine was external) your using could dictate all this, as mine did. Some tuners will only work if it catches the signal and prevents you from manually punching in stations. As described above, once the tuner grabbed the station, it didn't matter where I put the antenna.

I live in an apartment and i have tried a few antennas, of course none that really worked. I finally decided to go with this one and it got me 47 channels! The quality of the channels is great too!! The only downside is how big the antenna is, but that i can deal with. Very satisfied with this product and that it actually gave me some channels without even having to move it around and put in different places. Totally recommend it.

    50 Stations

I placed the antenna inside on a dresser about 6 feet off the ground, connected it to my TV and autoscan picked up 50 stations. Many of them are your typical local and college stations, but also the networks like ABC. CBS. NBC, Fox and TBS. Some of them are 50 to 60 miles away (in Orlando) and all crystal clear. Fortunately I don't have to change the orientation as they are all in the same general direction. I may mount it on the wall (it looks kind of artsy) but I might also mount it in the attic.

    Best Indoor Antenna I've Tried

I originally tried the cheaper amplified RCA model. For the price it didn't do a bad job. I am around 14 miles from the farthest tower in the Baton Rouge area. I was able to pick up 15 channels. Placing this antenna in the exact same spot, I was able to immediately pick up 28 channels, almost double that of the RCA. With some repositioning I'm sure I'll be able to pick up 30 or more. All in all, very happy with upgrading to the clearstream 2max.

    Clearstream 2 Max

I've had this antenna 2.5 years now. It's really great as far as I'm concerned. I get about 60 channels (mostly crap) including all the networks, several PBS channels, movie and classic TV channels, etc. I live in the south Bay in Ca so my great reception is surely influenced by the geography. I get 2 consistent comments from visitors. 1. "I can't believe this is over the air reception." and 2. "I thought the antenna was a piece of art."

    Cut the cord

I bought this antenna to get my locals so I could cut the cord to my cable. I’m pulling 33 channels with it. I’m getting abc, nbc, cbs, Fox, cw pretty clear. ABC pixelates once in a while but I’m using this antenna inside. I’m sure mounting it outside would help but it does the job it’s intended for. The only thing I don’t like is the plastic stand it comes with. Maybe the mounting brackets it comes with is better but I didn’t use it. I’ve used other cheaper models antennas and they didn’t work as good as this one.

I've tried several antennae over the past 10 years at various locations in the area and this one is the best, by far! My friend bought it and I helped hook it up. To my amazement he received 26 HD channels. Then I purchased the higher model for my mother and cut the cord. Works well even though she is on the flat, in a heavy wooded area 20mi from any tower.

Bought the Terk Flat Amplified antenna first, brought it home, got 4 channels. Returned it, then got the Clearstream. Brought it home and got 33 channels. Super impressed. I live 36 miles from the major network antennas. Now I get them all. Highly recommend this antenna. Don’t both with the flat antenna (Mohu, etc.).
